Not quite beyond belief Carwyn Jones, Mark Drakeford and now Vaughan Gething have been arrogant, this is Welsh Labour, more like a soviet enclave where it's always some one else's fault.

Whether its Drakeford or Gething, these people are not up to the job of leading a small country, they don't lead or inspire a vision, they implement dogma and throw massive amounts of money at it, in the hope that it works. On the day that this article departs, i wonder what the financial state of wales is, that will tell a story.
Vaughn Gething and his predecessor Mark Drakeford have not been good for Wales. We are falling behind other parts of The United Kingdom as a result of too many Welsh folk continuing to support political candidates purely because they sport red Rosettes and ignoring their lack of suitability to serve. We have got some good Labour politicians here in Wales but unfortunately all too many look to represent Welsh Labour as a means to obtaining an easy meal ticket. Even now we have a Health Minister more concerned about dictating the amounts of sugar and fat that we may be "allowed" to purchase rather than trying to provide good and unbiased diet advice. My family has included Farmers, Engineers, Steelworkers, Nurses and quite a few Miners over many generations of Welsh people resident in Wales.I am glad to see Mr Gething going at last and look forward to voting for change at the next Senedd Election. Unfortunately we are being forced to accept the extra costs of an even greater number of Senedd members which presumably Welsh Labour are counting on as wearing red. No thanks.
Most people don't visit waste sites , or special waste sites. The waste industry is not a career choice for many and can become a money maker for the less scrupulous. Taking £200k from a waste company and then lobbying /interfering with statutory bodies is not a good look.
Born in Zambia raised & educated in Dorset so not really a Welshman is he? The Tories lost the General Election by behaving badly & people refused to vote for them. Gething "campaigned vigorously" for Labour in Wales & their share of the vote was lower than the last General Election. The Tories were punished for being arrogant & corrupt how silly that Gething is so self obsessed that he feels that doesn't apply to him. Campaign Funds from a twice convicted criminal, who is in line for another massive loan from the Welsh Government Bank (previous loans were when Gething was Finance Minister?) & even though he is/was a Human Rights Lawyer he sacked a fellow Labour MS & refused to disclose his sources & evidence to back that up? Good riddance
How much does the Senedd cost the Welsh people in a year? I'd love to know. Are we getting value for money off these MP's? Wouldn't it be better to ditch the Assembly & use the money it costs the Welsh people to build Hospitals, which are needed as a matter of urgency, or, build an infrastructure that is fit for purpose ( the Brynglas Tunnel comes to mind) or build Schools fit for purpose, as opposed to ones where the roof falls in, or the Mould on the walls is'nt a hazard to Children & Staff alike? The Assembly needs disposing..

Rooted Welsh people need to be in the Senedd, don't have to speak fluent Welsh (because mid Wales doesn't) but you should have generations of Welsh family living here, and have a vast appreciation for your beautiful Country and its rooted people. Labour has had 20 years plus in power in wales & have done absolutely nothing for the Welsh citizens .it should be the Welsh electorate who should decide the next first minister , NOT THE SENNED.

I lived in Swansea for 4 years. Love Wales, just a shame the country's so impoverished. More money spent rebuilding a roundabout 5 times and a 'golden bridge' than actually investing in the economy
But the people of Wales has had no say in the expansion of the Senedd. The Senedd is unaffordable especially as they are culpable in money wasting vanity projects imposed on the people of Wales, and now this imposition of an over 50 percent increase of the talking shop non productive body with all the additional expenses that come with it.
