u did not discussed that its an hypo situation that if acquisition has been held on previous audited date?

sir as discussed in the example of idea and Vodafone the co. might go for an ipo or divestment but what if there is no merger of acquisition taking place after the audit of financial statements but the company goes for an ipo so for dat to issue a prospectus is it required to comply with this SAE 3420. THANK YOU.
