On a serious note, if you did the translation the songs would sound better. The current edition of “Nyimbo Cia Agendi,” the wording in most songs don’t meet the standards of proper Gîkûyû. The language there in is either word to word translation or the street spoken and Swahili borrowed Gîkûyû. I’d admonish you revise the hymn book.
