I'm considering this method to clean paint and roughen off of the surface of plastic motorcycle fairings/body covers, seems to be less time consuming and more uniform finish compared to sanding by hand. Also helps to clean deep into hard to reach areas
This worked extremely well for me blasting calcium deposits off of glass swimming pool tile. Now if you properly balance your pool water to the correct Langelier Saturation Index you shouldn't need to do this. But at the time I was not a pool chemistry expert. Now I am! And should never need to do this again.
Does soda blasting actually etch the surface of glazed ceramic tile or just clean the dirt and scum off and require sandblasting? I'm interested to know because I'm considering painting bathroom tile and would like to create an etched surface for the paint to bond to. I suppose that soda blasting etches the surface of PVC furniture because I found that even powerwashing does that. Thanks.
imperiumdiaboli Sorry, you must wipe the 🐦 poop off by hand, and I really mean hand. No paper towels, rags or sponges or anything else allowed. BY HAND
@Safe Soda I love the video, its very good, will soda be strong enough to remove heavy rust on steel and iron parts such as brake callipers and drums? or is there a more stronger media for that. Ive been using aluminium oxide
@@superiorsoda766 From where to get that moisture resistant soda? I was blasting cylinderhead last week and soda jammed my blowing gun because air moisture. I live in Finland
