We were in Mazatlan about a week and a half ago. Went on a really fun excursion. Estuary Cruise & Tropical Birds. The guide was excellent, he had us laughing the whole time.

The band sounded really good. Hoping on my upcoming first cruise there is a decent option for live music in a bar. It's one of my favorite things to do. I almost forgot you were on Carnival until I saw the Guy's Burger. It looked so good, so disappointing that it wasn't. Much like Mrs. Canuck, I enjoy a good fried egg sandwich. I have to ask if that's the standard bread used? I'd want them to throw another egg or two on there the fill the empty space 🤣.

Yes it's a beautiful ship and a decent layout (minus the dining room and buffet), but the service level was suffering.

The elevators drove us nuts on Panorama. We did it right, but most were not. Hello from Kelowna, BC. We're doing that same itinerary on Discovery Princess in March.

Hi! very interesting video, I too thought the house band was exceptional, the little we saw. My dad used to drink Crown and Ginger, and sometimes VO and ginger if there wasn't Crown. Mazatlan looked very clean and tourist oriented, will have to include Mexico Riviera in our future cruise plans. Maybe it was just a bad day for Guys. So long looking forward to your next port visit!

I chuckled at your casino comments. Same here. We rarely try the casino so it's hard to believe some folks will sit there for hours and think nothing of losing a couple hundred bucks. 😔 I'd much prefer to hear music.

We enjoy your channel because you two do the things we like to do so it’s fun to peek in while waiting for our next cruise. But we are a bit puzzled about how sometimes you call each other “Mr./Mrs. Canuck” and other times “Jerry/Jill.” Some do the former for privacy but we already know your names - lol! Totally don’t get it. 😮

Mr and Mrs Canuck was a nickname that came from viewer comments that stuck (at least now and then), but yes, there's no secret to our names. Is more of an ongoing playful way of describing each other - so much so that our family has even adopted to calling themselves, Brother Canuck, Mother Canuck, etc. It's all in good fun.

I’m enjoying your videos but I don’t think you showcased all the good food on the ship. There is Guy’s burgers, Blue Iguana Cantina which is the Mexican restaurant, Guy’s BBQ which is called Pig and Anchor, so many options at the buffet, JiJi’s is free for lunch on Sea days, and the Italian restaurant is also free for lunch on Sea days. The Italian restaurant also has a high tea time on certain days, I think, and can’t forget the handmade gelato.during the day, the omelet bar turns into a sandwich spot with really good sandwiches and all the cakes and cookies you could want. There is also pizza all hours of the day and night, the salad buffet on Serenity I think 2-4 pm, and the Brunch which you guys did show us. All this and more is included in the price of the cruise. My husband and I love all the food options without paying anything more than the cost of the cruise. For dinner, you can order up to 2 of everything for dinner, so if you don’t like your first dish, you can have a different one. Last year, my husband and I got 2 lobsters each during elegant night. I think the 3rd order is about $5 or more but still not bad. They also have exotic foods on the menu for dinner every night like frog legs, alligator, etc. it’s all included. There is also so much fun stuff to do on the ship like the sky ride, the high ropes course, all the fun games, clubs, some game shows to participate in, etc. we had a blast last year and we’re going against this month for our bdays in October and November. I know it’s hard to film everything with so many people around but there is actually really good food on the ship. We were always full sampling all the good food all day long, every day on our last trip.

Clarification: Guy’s BBQ was free for lunch on sea days. But the burgers were available during the day on all days. I don’t like burgers but I love those burgers. Those are the only burgers I eat.

And the buffet has a comfort food section different that the buffet all the way in the back which a lot of people don’t know about. I forgot to mention earlier (it didn’t let me edit my previous message so this is a side note which I thought people would like to know).

Yep we’ve cruised Carnival 24 times and we aware of all these things. We spent 31 days on three Carnival ships in 2022 and covered so much that they have to offer. Did you catch all 31 episodes - if not, check them out as you might enjoy seeing all that you mentioned. We are taking a break from Carnival - not cause of the food options but because after 24 cruises you are wanting to try new things. Glad you enjoy Carnival so much - we cruised as a family on this line for many years.
