When come to safety on public transports... Most importantly... Educated all drivers not to speed or jammed brake at every bus stop... 😊

Cos the drivers need to follow a schedule, if they don’t they get penalised. Due to jams and other problems they may need to speed up. That’s the problem. Not the bus drivers. SG always chasing KPI

wouldn’t it be the case that this was what was envisioned? Did anything change between the time the tender was awarded and when the tender winners realized that the price bid was insufficient for the anticipated product?

The decision to proceed with the design, which was initially unpopular, is said to be due to LTA being contractually bound to the OBU design after awarding the tender in 2016; thus, any alterations would incur additional costs.

Is this where our increased transportation costs goes to? 🤔🤔🤔 The innovation doesn't sound practical for me. Even as I drive, I don't want a beeping alarm suddenly shock me. Are the bus drivers really onboard with such an innovation? Seems like a case by case personal adjustment to technology. I would feel quite stressed with these devices surrounded and affect my driving performance.
