@@b.murenthalerSteve is up to his solo projects. The last time he joined tue band on tour was in '07. I feel like its amazing to see them anyways, on tour still these days. Ill see them again in '24 after '22.
Exactement!
Real performers playing live and sounding better than any modern auto tuned performance today !!! Crisp, sharp vocals, instruments, the works. What a treat to see them live. Had the chance to attend their concert on December 8, 1982 in Puerto Rico. My first concert ever and to date the best one. They are this amazing live.
I was there. My friends and I were about 15 feet back and to the left of the Canadian flag. Great two day show, perfect weather, and with the double stage you didn't have to wait long between music and everyone sounded great. Saga, REO Speedwagon and Foreigner were my favorites. It was here that I first saw Lone Justice, I like them but unfortunately they didn't last long. This was my last big thing I did in Germany before the Army transferred me back to the states a month later. I too really miss the 80s! Those were great days
I was there! What a legendary video clip! The first Rock am Ring at the most legendary race track in the world - The Green Hell Nürburgring. Biggest Open Air event til then with U2, Marillion, Joe Cocker, REO Speedwagon, Foreigner, Huey Lewis, Rick Springfield and many more. 75.000 people, very hot temperatures, too few drink stands and toilets, but finally probably one of the most spectacular concerts of all time!
Wow!! These guys sound Incredible!! Great Live Performance, The Band sounds Really Tight. They played this song to the tee!! Bravo Saga!! Great Job!!👍👍👍👏👏
Funny....but myself and many and others really had no idea how incredible the 80s were even as we were experiencing them...especially in regards to music. ALL genres were well represented and moving forward at full speed.
Ich auch ❤ und wir waren so jung, hübsch ...hatten noch Anstand und Benimm... meistens pleite und trotzdem viel Spass... und stolz dabei gewesen zu sein...😅❤
I'am 28 Years old. My First "Rock am Ring" Germany Konzert May1985? . Wow, what a great Time in my Live. Best 80er Rock Bands, great Sunny Weather. Unvergessen! 👍😎🍺🎼🎸🎤🎹🎷 diese Zeit kommt nie zurück. Ich habe noch alle meine Saga Platten.Jedes Jahr im May, gibt's bei mir ein Back to this Time Konzert 👍🥰 🇩🇪 The Live ist fast passend ☹️ 🤗
Such a great band!!😊 Had the the privilege of seeing them opening for Billy Squier in 83 at the Long Beach Arena! Undeniable talent in my humble opinion! Have almost all their releases to date. Thanks to all current and former members of Saga!!
I started listening to SAGA in 1977 since their album named "SAGA". Oh my Gosh have I been taken for a musical ride. In 1980 they played their first concert in Puerto Rico, it was the return of Rock music since the early 70s movement. That concert was packed with about eight thousand PROG music lovers that were introduced by ALPHA ROCK 106 station. Since then, SAGA has played in indoors venues in Puerto Rico seven times. My other experience was in Germany in 1982 when I arrived with the military for a three year stretch nobody knew their music until I stepped out of the base and learned that SAGA was going on tour. Truth was that I needed to see then again and in October of 1982, I went to Dortmund Germany to get a refresher experience. Love it then and love then now.
This sounds unexpectedly good live. I liked this song a lot. And this band had a few really good tunes. I rooted for them to really hit it big. I'm glad they got some videos on MTV. That's how I discovered them, at the age of 15.
I could finally see Saga in my country during their 4th visit. I can't forget their performance. Superb! They played again here again tonight. I could not attend this time. ;( ❤ from Venezuela
👌Oh oui!! j'entends encore son magnifique solo de batterie, qui pourtant date de 1984 et alors que j'en ai vu d'autres groupes en concerts! J'avais 15 ans et son solo m'a marquée à vie!🪐🌠🔥
Saw SAGA live in concert, 1982 opening up for Pat Benatar (Get Nervous Tour?). Tell ya what, that was an evening of two headliners for one ticket price. Wind Him Up & On The Loose obviously were crazy good... also remember dude coming to the front of the stage with a suitcase and placing it on a stool, opens it up towards him, breaks out drumsticks and plays electronic drums out of the suitcase for a song. Great concert!
almost 2 minutes into the song and then the name of the song flashes on the screen. here's a bit of trivia: did you know the singer ran out of shirts so he borrowed one form his sister.
Fixing to blow the roof off from my cabin in Montana with this jam! This particular performance rivals the studio version. Ian is on fire! Thank you for posting this gem Dean!!
Truly a Canadian moment in Time!!! Canadian Band and Canadian fans with Canadian flags... Be proud canadians - Saga really put you on the map - even abroad.
@@1980Campino his point is that they are a Canadian band that made it big. I see a huge USA flag in the audience so was wondering where this was located. thanks for that info.
