Sagat's second Maxi single taken from the LP "The World According To Sagat" is another funk groove as seen through the eyes of Sagat. Available now on iTunes and Beatport. www.maxirecords.com
Dude was funny and DIFFERENT notice the emphasis on the word different? meaning he was doing something know one else was doing at that time. Wish today's "artist" had a clue on how to be different.
If anyone actually heard his album, they would know that he can rhyme his ass off. Listen to songs like "Gotcha Runnin" and Wit 0 Wit Out", he's good. His singles didn't display any of his rhyme skill at all, for whatever reason.
CRISISHIPHOP: I've often wondered if that might have been the whole idea, period. ...pretty subversive, if you think about it. Of course, it's a one-trick pony, and can only work for one or two singles. Sorta like Afro-man's "Because I Got High." lol......
...and also a one-trick pony like Tone Lōc: "Wild Thing," followed by "Funky Cold Medina," followed by.... nothing. Or also like Young MC: "Bust a Move," followed by "Principal's Office," followed by.... nothing.
Don't forget one hit wonder Gilette with her "Short Man" track... or Ya Kid K with "Pump Up The Jam" and that other big hit he/she had... followed by nothing.
