SAGO MUSCUT
Ingredients
3 cups water
1 cup sago
11/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup ghee
1 tsp cardomons powder
Green coloring
Method
In a nonstick pan add 3 cups water and bring it to boiling point and add sago and cook for 15 minutes in medium to low heat while stirring. After 15 minutes or when sago is cooked like pearl add sugar and cook for another 15 minutes. Keep on stirring with a wooden spoon!! Add ghee little by little followed by green coloring and cardomons. Keep cooking in low fire till it becomes thick. Pour into a square mold and leave it set over night. ( not in the refrigerator) cut into squares.
