We used the new diy hookah rig to clean the bottom of our new Catalina 25 sailboat. this sailboat hasn't been cleaned in 10 years or better. so the zebra muscles were a few inches thick. Not to worry though the local sun perch were kind enough to devour anything I scraped off.
Items used:
5 in 1 stainless scraper
Changing Lifestyles - Safe-er-Grip Traveler Balance Assistant Bar suction cup ( these are all plastic no rust)
Star brite scrub handle and pads (used the red pad medium grit)
Dive mask
Scotch bright pad and sponge combo
lycra hood ( it keeps the small organisms out of you ears )
Heavy dive gloves or work gloves ( keeps your hands from being cut up )
