As a former Alaskan who has never gotten to go sailing (but will get the chance this weekend on a little Hobie 18 catamaran), it was super fun for me to see this dichotomy between the sailing life and the snow life, and having had 20 years experience in snow. Looks like you all had a blast either way, and it's been a lot of fun to start following all your exploits, even though I'm a year late to the party. It's especially cool because my girlfriend and I were talking a year ago about doing much this same style of thing and starting a similar RU-vid channel (which we're gearing up for), and it's been super inspirational to see the work you guys put into your videos and your editing and choices. So thanks for the inspiration, fair winds to you all, and maybe one day we'll meet on the seas!

Thanks for yet another awesome video. Kazan and Brian congrats on the future family, Kazan you just have an amazing glow about it. Blue there’s something amazing about your commentary, the calmness and deep thoughts you are able to verbalize is nearly a zen state of completeness with your life. Brady the level of excitement you maintain and the zest for life truly brings out great things in everyone you come in contact with. So glad you all got to enjoy your vacations.

Hey Captain I've been kiting since 05 , after u get going move ur hands closer to Centre of bar about 2-3 cm from centre line this makes it easier to control als if u fall grab bar in centre with one hand , never grab outside of bar this will cause a looping so if ur hands are wide on bar it gets to turn twitchy love ur show I'm skipper here in Gold Coast cheers Duncan

Happy you are enjoying. Mt or boat. Wherever you are there you are. I lived in both situations. However to own/ have/ maintain both you have to be rich or work a lot for it.. Big boat, big truck, big cabin all cost a lot. I lived in ski area 2 x. And had in another setting boat every weekend. But I worked hard, too. I know you 'work' on videos. However to have both and fly all over and maintain it all costs big bucks. Glad you are all enjoying and happy.

Listening to you talk about the balance of warm weather and beaches, mountains and snow made me realize that's like what I get to have living in Indiana every year. Living somewhere with four seasons is the perfect balance for me. And yes learning the tricks to chopping wood definitely has a learning curve.

It is a nice 86 degrees outside.. Once we saw the Brady and Blue snow footage.. I instantly put a blanket over me to watch the video.. I was cold... great video ! Love the splitting between the two segments.

Heavenly is my favorite ski area in Tahoe. I stay at Camp Richardson right on the lake when I am there. That is my idea of a wonderful vacation. I am glad to see you had lots of fresh powder when you were there.

awesome episode, its nice to not only see the comparison of sailing life and mountain life. but i had the opportunity to meet Blue and Brady in Tahoe at the Sound Tribe show. MILLIONS!!! haha those were some good times. ive been living/loving the mountain life for 8 years now, the snow shoveling, the wood chopping the fire starting, the early winter ice skating and the skiing crotch deep powder have been my life during the winter. But for the past 3 years i have been dreaming and planning and saving to make the transition to sailing life. the timing isn't right just yet but its all in the works and when it feels right ill make the transition. yes the winters are hard work, but the Joy that i get sliding down a mountain on 2 planks beneath my feet is pure bliss. i compare my mountain life to the boat life i see from you and other vloggers and it seems pretty comparable, you do a little bit of boat work and then you play. i chop some wood and start a fire before i go skiing and you guys fix a prop bearing before you go kite-boarding. Same same but different.

Dear Delos... When do we get to see the Arctic adventure? Great episode... Enjoyed the contrast from sail to snow. Kazza: Lovely bump. Brady and Blu: When I was a teenager my family would go to Tahoe every summer for a couple weeks. One summer I took diving gear just to experience scuba in a fresh water lake. It was cold as all get out, but the giant lake trout (which are nearly impossible for fishermen to catch) didn't know what to make of me. They'd let me swim up to them an poke 'em with my finger. Wow, what a total difference in climates. I loved skiing in Tahoe when I was there years ago, but today am a 100% wuss and want the warm Caribbean sunshine. Brady's new little 'brother'. That's the way Uncle's are. Brady will be packing this kid everywhere. Brady will be the child's playmate. When you need to find where the kid is, look no further than Brady. They'll be unseperateable. And cold?.... I'm a Montanan, and this is our everyday routines for 6-8 Months out of the year. Beasty Dodge pickups, and fetching, chopping, and heating firewood. It's kinda like on a boat, you're whole life is work to stay warm and be comfortable through the winter. All your work is preparing your vehicles and home to make it through.

Okay, right there at the beginning Karen said "Let's make a sandwich and start [makin'] children." I think I may have heard that wrong, but then again, . . . : - ) Next - Hey don't poke the baby! She'll grow up playing poker! Poker here, poker there. lol (BTW - This is a running commentary : D ) Then in the first skiing sequence, I never noticed Blue's beautiful lips before. They stand out when the rest of her face is covered! Then back to Brian and Karen, with Brian rebuilding a prop! (I love the mechanical vids!) But, hey isn't this supposed to be your honeymoon? Not maintenance moon. lol Then back to cold - XC - Skiing! I've done that for 12 years you newbies! Brady - "Now we're good!" then he falls down. LOL Then back to the water and Brian loses his swim trunks! 8-O LOL This episode is SOOO funny! and 6 minutes left! Then Blue and Brady get poetic and philosophical in a great way. Then, Karen - "Why's it sticking out!?" Brian - "Because there's a baby in there!" LOL This episode was really good and fun. One of the best you've ever done! : - ) PS - Has the little one appeared yet? The Delos Tribe really wants to know. Just a picture on Instagram would be fine. Scott (aka, Captain SNAFU)

A.B.S.O.L.U.T.E.L.Y. the best Delos lately !! Of course, all the vlog episodes are wonderful, yet this hi the spot for me. Snow (I come from Maine and skiing/snowmobile racing), sailing (had a 36; sloop in Maine for 15-years) and took the proverbial 1-month off every summer (almost the entire summer for Maine...LOL) and had a son and watched him grow from a seed into now a successful guy !! . The fun thing about cross country skiing is that it lets you know you're capable of doing the splits. 😃 It's funny, growing up in Michigan, I could just never get into the winter sports. I think I've found out that snow is not for me. (Says the girl currently sailing in Norway, lol)
