Sailing to Björholmen | Enjoy Life After 50

Finally after all the rain and the heavy wind we could enjoy a weekend of sailing. We took along two friends which don't have a lot of experience of sailing. Now they would even sleep a night on our X-Yacht 4.3. As the wind was not very strong we realized we wouldn't get far, so we decided to go to Björholmen which is situated on the west side of the island Tjörn. This is a small marina with a hotell, restaurant and "kiosk" where you can by icecream.
Even though the weather was not the best, we still took a bath and made a small trip with our rubberboat.
This film gives you glims how beatiful the bohuslän westcoast is.

Thanks Carina, very entertaining as usual. Tell me, would you buy another X yacht or go for another make if you were on the look out for another boat? The X40 looks very well equipped and the build quality looks good but I know yours is slightly bigger, so would you still go for the same size as well?

Thanks for your comment. We are very happy and pleased with our boat and has no thoughts with buying another brend. The size is great for us and we can easily bring kids and friends sling🥰

Hi cuz! Nice video. My computer has been blitzo the past week, but limping along now. I do want to thank you for motivating me. I went internet searching for my relatives in Lysekil and frankly, I'm pretty excited, but no solid results .....yet. I found Lasses Photo in Lysekil, who's owner might be related......(waiting on email response). His shop is in downtown Lysekil, and guess what? He's right next door to a BAKERY.....makes me wonder if it is my Aunt Matilda's bakery (site shows yummmmmmmie cream puffs too....ha ha). What REALLY threw me........IF Lasse is my cousin.....he looks a lot like YOU!! I may not be calling you cousin in JEST for long!! ha ha Take care cuz

Thanx for the response, cuz. The next time you're in Lysekil, stop by Lasse's Foto for your camera needs and don't forget to stop next door at the bakery for Aunt Madilda's cream puffs! Hi cuz! I hope all is well with you and your family. Lasse Robertson sent me a nice email and he is not my cousin. He's from Stromstadt (50 yrs in Lysekil). He gave me a couple of names to check (no luck....yet). Lasse seems like a really nice guy. Since I contacted you it seems like this is "adopt a Swedish cousin" year......ha ha Happily so.
