It’s common for many remasters to even tweak cut/unused assets. A great example is Mafia II: Definitive Edition and how the devs remastered Joe’s unused prisoner model.

Mods are such a blessing. I'm glad they expended the color shades on clothes and cars. I always had a problem with the fact that blue is only the light blue. I want regular blue. It made no sense not having that. Too bad I'm only on the console. I can't wait to get a PC.
The funny thing is I originally forgot that the borderlands mod was for saints row 3 so I looked it up for saints row 2 and apparently you only need a change a couple options on reshader in saints row 2 to get the same effect. Which is kind of awesome.
After figuring out how to get some of the mods (from tutorials) with the steam variant I have. I can now enjoy the game. Also, the bordersaints mod kinda makes sense since in SRIV in the dlc missions they made comic like cutscenes which is cool. There was also comic books in SRTT like gamgsta's in space along with the Johnny Tag mission when you get Saints Flow super powers with comic sound effects. (example: "POW!")
DAMN I didn't know how *Good* the Remaster looks! Finally on Steam now I might consider getting it! also due to the fact the new Reboot is a massive pile of steaming hot trash so it's gonna be SR1-4 again for the next years.

Hey Godzilla, I found an Easter egg in Saints Row 2 that I haven't found any videos on specifically. If you go to the Saints HQ and exit out of the clean/"home" part of it and into the vagrant area, immediately turn right and run towards the end of the tunnel towards what I think is a broken wall of some kind. From there, turn your volume all the way up and you can hear what sounds like a trumpet playing in the distance.
There’s a lot of mysterious noises you can hear around the Saints HQ. Near the spot where Zombie Uprising takes place, you can hear a baby cry and other random sounds.
Theres also a banjo that plays there as well. Kinda of a weird easter egg. Note, take the left door not the right door on Saints HQ, towards the end of the tunnel you'll hear a trumpet and banjo play, but not at the same time.

I always find it kinda sad how we used to identify Shaundi as “the cool pothead girl that is very sweet, funny, and helpful” then in SR3 and 4 “She’s a Bitch” just like the games themselves after SR2 everything lost its charm and transformed to something negative... mostly. Also sad how we need mods to make the game better
They killed the series with 3. Before it you could still take the game seriously if you wanted to The only parts of the games that were comedic where the over the top characters like Johnny Gat and the fact that you COULD do bizarre things with your player character. After three it was nothing serious and everything was so far removed that the humor was completly lost... IMO anyways.
@@nej2147 SR3 & 4 are the best in my opinion, the funny and wtf atmosphere that what made Saints Row not just a simple GTA like, but an Open World with his own charm ! Not saying that SR1 & 2 are bad but I prefer how is it now ! The only thing that I regreet in SR3 & 4 is the city, Stilwater was a better city compared to Steelport !
@@K3rhos I would agree but drifting away from traditional 3rd person shooters, it being different, loud, Pop Culture crap, Bad characters, Lame Comedy, no substance, and annoying just killed the franchise! (GTA didn't invent shit! It helped bring it to the world more)
Its funny how modders make games look and play better than the developers man. It almost make SR3 actually fun, NPC's actually have life and a personality, great fighting animations and better car customizations.
One mod that I think should be made, is a method to stop the vehicle sounds from sounding like they have 5 billion gears, like the constant up-shifting... Well, grinds my gears. xD
who needs mods while you can glitch zombie gat to have a rifle cool fact he’s on a murder spree and really cool to have himkilling zombies with rifles in zombie island you need a eagle to glitch him to have a rifle he needs to sit on the side of the eagle then get out of the eagle and he should have a rifle on he’s hands beware johnny will kill everyone with a rifle
I think they should remaster Sr2 with sr1 hairstyle and when u do drugs i wish i wasnt just 1 blow and done they should make it longer with a button to cancel and they should add more realistic weapons and more weapon customization like drums and clip extensions.
You should keep this series going man hopefully they mod a proper online into this thing I just recently bought this game for my switch cuz I have it on all my other gaming consoles but I didn't even know it was on switch so I recently been playing it it's pretty good actually
you know volition explained why boats were not in agents of mayhem but they never explained why boats are not in saints row the third roaming in the waters. i use to love to get a small boat and try to hijack the giant ones in saints row 2 it was very very difficult to get a yacht in that game if your a noob like i was back in the days and dint know you could just unlock it.
