Nah the animators at mappa are such talented people. Its mappa themselves that are destroying there animators by over working and underpaying them. Mappa has a reputation for taking on more than they can handle and dropping it all on its workers.

Fun fact: it wasn’t that he forgot, he simply didn’t care about holding back since genos was basically the one person that made him actually feel down to earth
Yeah, Saitama feared that he wouldn’t be human anymore and lose all his emotions turning himself to a walking statue. All he wanted to do was fight a strong opponent that matched strength just like him to give him purpose. But Genos was there to care for Saitama even though Saitama didn’t really mind it but appreciated him. I guess he got the opponent he wished for but in what cost? Watching your friend get the rengoku treatment in front of you? Rip 💀
A man who broke his limiter just to become an ultimate evil vs a man who removed his limiter just to become hero for fun Truly a battle of our generation
Garou: "I've broken my limiter, now my power is exponentially growing!" Saitama: "You've still got a limiter? Had mine removed three years ago, worst decision of my life! Hopefully that Suiryu guy takes my advice."
Isn't saitama the only guy to ever break the limiter? Genuinely curious. Pretty sure the cosmic garou's strength buff here is solely from an extraterrestrial being and not from breaking his limiter. I may be missing something idk
@@incognito5416 Orochi had its limiter removed. Also, Garou got the ability to copy other peoples powers from "God" and did not remove his limiter. His increase in strength was solely due to copying Saitama's power.
@@pizzastopstimeOrochi did NOT have his limiter removed. He and Garou merely started to 'break' it but failed in the end. Otherwise if Orochi did remove it, Saitama wouldn't have one shot him in that mural cave. Perhaps its due to their monsterfication, as I recall being monsterized gives power but removes the potential for growth. Garou is a special case as his monsterfication is of his own strength and the cosmic fear mode was granted by god.
@@getyournekoshere9824 oh fr? I personally think the writing is top notch, apart from the animation. First time meeting someone who doesn't like the show, what don't you like about it?
This is God-tier editing. To be able to use manga panels, mixed with already existent animated scenes, then spiced with visual effects and flawless editing that could match the level of AAA studios... This is a work of a genius. This 2010s/20s generation of editors is just insane. Thanks to availability of editing techniques and software technology, young talents create works that could be milestones decades ago, while in nowadays' standards it is just another skilled visual artist. We start to get packed with visual artists every now and then it makes our dopamine levels rise exponentially. The orgasms are frequent. And I am more than than thankful to witness such endeavors. Thank you for this hype, and amazing piece of art. Such editing talent should not be wasted.

@@yigithancalskan9205 absolutely not, this guy has all the time in the world. The animation studios do not. Don't let this insane animation distract you from the fact that this was made with free time and not a tight schedule
Damn, I was blown away by this unreal studio level animation, for a matter of a fact, you've actually surpassed the animators themselves, you definitely need a role in season 3.
This just makes me both happy and sad. Happy because this is undebiably awesome. Sad because this particular amazing arc will probably not get animated as amazing as S1 was.
@Winter s2 was still good it just wasnt as good as the original. it had problems but overall it was still a good season. this the problem with setting the bar too high, people get entitled and expect too much. the first season was a bunch of incredibly talented animators getting together and making an incredible season for fun. season 2 had a more basic anime production and less time.
I know this isn’t be in season 3, but season 3 has murata(who’s a perfectionist) overseeing and helping with the animation. So if he keeps doing that in other seasons, it could be pretty amazing.

It didn't outshine the stars. As the guy up there said, it literally destroyed the stars. What you are looking is esentially a void in space with nothing in it. For those imagining why do the big name studios doesn't go for animations like this. Folks, the guy who made this animation knows how much time and effort he put into this. Even this short animation took longer than you think. It will take ages to adapt the same animation in to the real anime.

@@Omer-jl2vz yah i unfortunately agree, that said if this guy had a small team of relactively skilled artists and a sizable budget that the season 2 op team had, then this guy would shat on them.
You're forgetting the fact that the guy who made this had made this during his free time. Having all the time he needs to create an animation to this quality. Your comment just simply ignores the fact that big studios have tight schedules and they have to finish the animations on time. Heck, it's just not one minute worth of visuals. But *HOURS UPON HOURS* of animation.
I don’t know how long this guy took to do this clip, maybe 6 months? For this one minute clip? Give the animation studios 6 months to do one minute clip and you’ll see how good they are. Actually, do you pay for the anime? Or do you pirate it? If you’re pirating it and you’re complaining about the quality that the studios have, I don’t know what to say.

@@aseq299 ONE the original creator stated it to being with, that he have infinite power. The power scale that Garou fervently spoke about is just Saitama not knowing the amount of strength to finish the fight, is the joke about the manga people mistaking everything King do as an absolute show of strength and Saitama commonly being underestimated like they can win him on a fight. Just people being in denial that Saitama is absolute as he is a joke character that can solo anything on front of him.

AI generated images are going to get so good that it will be able to not only output images but coherent sequences of images (AKA video) and we will have manga-cover-quality animation generated by AI (and not the static or loopy/repetitive mess we often have nowadays in anime) we will even get masterpiece painting quality animation because why not. @@depravedsouls9975 I know they despise it and why, I even touched on it on a previous comment, I said they will lose their job (as they know it anyway) and the real kick in the teeth is that AI uses artists works as inspiration to do so. I understand why it's terrible for a lot of artists that make images, but the point of art is not to employ people or the economy, or even to give people something hard and skilful to do, the point is making people feel and think.
@@joannot6706 they wont lose their jobs and ai probably wont take over the art industry because of how limited ai animation can be. you still have to tweak everything in order to make it viable. AI works on creating something based on a pre-existing concept/creation that we made, and without our creation it cannot run properly. what it can do to help the art industry is do in-between animations faster than a normal animator. though i doubt this will be the case since a lot of in between animators start there before being a lead animator

This is the best animation I have ever watched hands down. No studio can compare to how much passion comes through this 1-minute scene. It's a work of art. I don't say that lightly. I love anime. But after coming back to this over and over and over and over after 5 months of coming back weekly. I can conclude with 100% certainty. This is best I have or probably ever will see any anime look. Hindsight is 20-20. This is beyond masterful, beyond the best and subjectively the pinnacle of what it looks like to draw your, soul, in action. It's the highest level of art I have ever experienced.
Ok, to say that the studios can’t compare is so wrong. This is just one minute, from like what, 6 months? The creator had all the time in the world to make this, they weren’t getting chased by deadlines. The studios had deadlines, give the studio 6 months for one minute clip, and I guarantee you that they would be miles better than this clip.
This isn't just amazing from a visual perspective, from a design and animation perspective it's FANTASTIC! The mix of basically straight manga panels, CG, VFX, it's professional studio level dear lord.
I keep rewatching this over and it's so damn amazing, the expressions on Blast's face, the visuals, the music perfectly matching up with what's happening, the minor details like as Blast smiles during the build up when he gets help from his friends. It all just flows together and makes such an excellent animation.
Nobody can keep this level of animation up. Theres a reason many movies put most of their budget into the fight scenes. If they kept this level of animation throughout the entire episode or movie or show, the animators would quickly burn out and lose all passion.
It's more so great composition and effects mixed with genuinely great transitions and 3d work but yes only Ufotable has been able to make animes using the same techniques this video uses consistently on a higher level but the "animation" in of itself (talking bout the vid) isn't "top studio level" like Mappa, Wit, Kyoto, Bones, etc but that's still nothing to scoff at since it's only 1 person who made this and it's genuinely masterclass fan animation worthy of Murata's art.
Absolutely stunning. The amount of work that went into not only this animation but all the work and dedication needed to develop the skills needed to pull it off is mindboggling.
God this is so good! Only thing bad about this is that my expectations for the studio animating this scene is set astronomically high now. Absolutely astounding! I hope to be able to animate like this someday.
Holy shit. Your overall artistic choices/color (0:46), animation, unique perspectives/angles (Blast's hand 0:50), and then the pacing/cutting is seriously brilliant. Also, your attention to detail is great (0:58).
Holy shit! That was fucking fantastic. The animation was fucking crazy good, and the editing, my god. Phenomenal job on adding your own bits and pieces to make it even cooler than in the manga. If this was the quality, we would get for season 3 i would be over the moon.
