FYI, Chloe instead of making whipped cream made a cement-like concoction by adding black food coloring powder to cream and proceeded to beat the shit out of it with an electric eggbeater until it turned into mashed potato.
The little whipped cream looks a little weird to my eyes I've never seen it in that color but it looks delicious overall it all looks delicious and hearing her count was so surprisingly sweet.

I think those were beaten egg whites. She made a souffle style pancake. Basically the same except you separate the whites from the yolks and beat them til fluffy. Then mix it with all the other ingredients. Makes a really light airy pancake.
Must be a Sakamata family recipe. But in all seriousness, if it is supposed to be beaten egg whites then maybe she used food coloring? Really can’t figure out why they’re that color

That *IS* a fuwa-fuwa pancake. My goodness, it looks thick and fluffy. I prefer waffles but I'd be willing to give that a try. Even the raw graphite ore she's having alongside it.
I guess that whipped cream was like, activated charcoal or something? It's kinda popular thing in Japan (or maybe East Asia in general) from what I know.
I like how everyone was pointing out how grey the whipped cream was. And honestly I had no idea whipped cream was that thicc and gray. Other than that the pancakes looks great.
Folding meringue into a pancake batter is a pretty cool idea. They must have been extra fluffy! That "Whipped cream" was beaten so hard she made butter however 😅
Its like watching your baby niece or something cook. She does great but you worry the whole time. Still a lot better than the monstrosities Haachama makes tho

honestly not bad. as a cook it's always surprising how bad people are at cooking even with a recipe and directions, however this looks fine, ilI fully expected a complete mess haha
the pancakes and apples are so good and appetizing, the black whipped cream, not so much. The fact that the orca knows what she's doing is impressive, nonetheless.
Never mind the color of the "cream", how do you get it that consistency? It's so dense, she's pushing down on it with full hand force and it barely budges. There's not much air in that. If it is cream, it must be a crazy high fat percentage where it's basically just butter straight out of the jar... but it looks more dry and crumbly, like it's dissolved solids rather than fat giving it stiffness. Are we sure this isn't a mistranslation, and it's some sort of frosting material?
