I`ve just bought one of these new in 6.5 Creedmoor with a Schmidt and Bender 5-25x56 scope, I absolutely love it.

Hey m8. Just bought the same gun with same specs, How is it running with you? May i ask what ammo are you running through the gun now that you have had a couple of months to test it out?
@GeoffreyFaul
@GeoffreyFaul 11 месяцев назад
Hi@@vihnu , the rifle is absolutely faultless and shoots perfectly, Sub MOA at 300 yards and knocking down falling targets at 600 yards. I haven't had the opportunity to shoot at a longer distance yet but hoping to get out to 1400 yards. I have used a variety of ammo, Federal 140 grain, Hornady custom international 140 grain, Sako game head pro 130 grain and Norma match 130 grain. Pretty good groups with all of them but the Sako and Federal are probably the best.

The mag is double stack single feed. And the multicaliber version is the M10, the 22a1 is a fixed calibet version. With the a1 the barrel is a basic thread, you cannot quick change calibers in the field like with the M10

Ordered the Sako TRG-22 A1 in 6.5 creedmoor with bipod and muzzle break. It’ll set you back 8K in euro’s. But you’ll own the best you can get.

Been thinking about picking one up in 300 Win Mag. A lot of money. But seam to be worth it. Was going to buy a Victrix. But you can’t get any spare magazines here in the USA. Supposedly it uses AI styled magazines. But they don’t recommend using other brands. Had a Sabbatti in 6.5 Creed moor. Factory magazine worked as long as you didn’t push up on it. MDT magazines were too tight. Magpul didn’t fit great. No magazines from Sabbatti available in the US. So I sold it.

Bad ass to be honest. As you say, £6000 but once you get it you can modify it to your liking even changing calibre.

Simo Häyhä. 553 kills with ironsights in some 80 days. Finland WinterWar. 230 more with Suomi-machinepistol... The only man ever raised from corporal to First Leutenant, in Finland. Countersniper finally hit him in the head but he lived! youtube...

Hello - Great video. Did I understand that the barrel can be changed out (screw in/out I presume like the AI AT308)? Thanks JK
@tiputipu777

You need to keep in mind that the 22 a1 is designed as a military precision rifle, so you hava a ton of mlok slots for mounting lazerlight combos, ir lazer, ir illuminators etc. As a civilian, you can put ammo holders and dope card holders on the fore end. Also the full length pic rail is there for clip on nv or thermal optics. This kinda feels like you are reviewing a military precision rifle as a civilians hunting rifle and complaining about stuff that a civilian doesnt need, but failing to understand the rifles purpose. Edit: and this is the 22a1 which is fix caliber. The m10 has the switch caliber/barrel system by the end user.

Very nice review! Thanks. I love this rifle, but I can't justify spending 6K for a rifle that you can't change barrels. Sako (or Beretta) is screwing people with this rifle - especially when you compare to cost of Tikka TAC A1. And, if you want the Sako version w/ interchangable barrels, you are out 11K for the M10. I will stick with Accuracy International. At least they offer value for your money.

Because I don’t know any farmers and being 20 years old Whenever I ask for pigeon shotgun permission they don’t give me a chance therefore I have absolutely no land to shoot on. I assume I’d have to be part of a club for them to grant me this rifle as I don’t have any other need for it
