The author of wind breaker, satoru nii, is a big fan of tokyo revengers and used to make fanarts of the characters. It’s very likely that tokyo revengers is one of the inspirations for wind breaker, which is why it gives off a similar vibe.

Sakura is bullied/rejected because of his genetic conditions: “Poliosis” is when a person is born with or develops a patch of white or gray hair, while otherwise maintaining their natural hair color. It can affect both children and adults. “Heterochromia” is when you have differently colored eyes or eyes that have more than one color.

The whole point is that Hakura's colored hair and eyes is natural, and he gets bashed for it. Not dyed, no contacts.

I have a soft spot for male tsundere characters, it’s cute how shy sakura gets when people thank him and his blushy face is adorable. I love him sm already 🥹

The main character feels like a WAY more complex Takemichi who knows how to throw hands and doesn't really give a fuck 90% of the time. And I love it.

So this is high budget Tokyo revengers with a useful MC. I'm here for it

btw this happened fast so I didn't notice the first time either but the guy Sakura kicked at the end was about to stab one of the other furin members

I already love sakura he’s so tsundere it’s cute lol + him being voiced by yuma uchida is a bonus for me. Kotoha is pretty too, her design reminds me of younger shoko especially with the mole under the eye

1:33 The manga is actually made by Nii Satoru not Yongseok Jo. It's a Japanese manga not a Korean Manhwa.

Author probably got inspiration from Tokyo Revengers but overall, story is more reminiscent of Crows Zero. It's nostalgic to see just straight up fights and action like what we get back then. For anyone reading further, I remember a japanese series back then(live action) with mc being 2 or 4th rank,(can't remember which) but basically just a fighting story with some powers but not too ridiculous. TIA

Yeah I really enjoyed the first episode a lot, it looks like it's gonna be another banger anime, the opening is catchy and a vibe, also the fights go hard! I love the scene where Haruka was struggling to raise his head to look at the girl he saved along with the other people he saved, I really loved how the shot that scene showing it from his perspective. Yeah I'm definitely gonna be watching more of this for sure!
