skyuru Hell are you talking about? She's still the same ol' Sakura but more grown up. You really thought she was gonna be a school girl forever? And there's nothing American about it she's wearing normal clothes like a normal person.
Jason Starr So she grown up and she is the most censored girl in the game? Her tomboy style with a little fanservice legs was the important charming trademark of her, now she is full censored, because the game is made in USA, and the most important nostalgia costume is CENSORED, she dont wear the original red shorts bloomers, they recycled the horrible censored "spats" to nostalgia, she got all censored costume, this is BORING and SHAME, she is ultra covered as americans love to see: covered girls, WTF...
@warriorpluto obviously you CAN name your child that but sakura is literally a cherry blossum tree in Japanese, its popular to give a lot of fictional characters that name because it sounds cute but before they started doing that no one had that name and still its not a very common name in japan.
@warriorpluto i already said that there are girls with that name but its not a common name. point is it never orginated as a name, its a very recent thing.
2:42 Announcer: Do we really need to say "Plus Alpha?" 😐 Capcom: Yes. It sounds cool and hip.😁 Announcer: Sounds corney and redundant. 🤨 Capcom: Well we are paying you. You will say it. 👿 Announcer: 😡😤😑😐
At that point in video game history things like pleated skirts where still hard to render realistically, and they probably dropped it when they couldn't get it to look right. Note that in the previous two 3D entries she had a skirt, but it doesn't behave right at all.
This is simply an emulation bug. She does have a skirt but in some versions of the pcsx2 emulator the skirt failed to render or was rendered incorrectly leading to this visual bug. It's so old that I'd assume it is fixed by now. But in original hardware this would not be possible since the skirt would be rendered correctly as you'll see in so many other videos
0:55 -- Fun Fact: Rival Schools: United By Fate was a 3D Fighting game made by Capcom for the Arcade and Playstation. As the same suggested, it featured a bunch of mostly High School-aged fighters of varying archetypes battling it out. Sakura actually appeared as a hidden character in the game, and yes, it's more or less Canon to the Street Fighter/Final Fight universe.
I know "technically" its not Really her in Morero Justice Gauken (Project Justice), it was just a special custom character made by Capcom. But I would've enjoyed seeing that appearance of her here lol
