Steven, you are among my favorite photographers who actually go out and shoot. So many are just doing gear reviews. I also like to talk film gear and gear in general, but you do a great job balancing gear/ actual photography. I just wanted to thank you for making videos. They make me want to go out and shoot/ film.
Love this video about b&w photos taken by Kodak Retina IIIc and Hasselblad. Yes, there are more poetic and reflective meanings to enjoying Sakura, but I still wonder if people who come to see the blossoms are simultaneously thinking about the hereafter. I think it is most important to enjoy the moment and capture it in film, and appreciate what Nature gives. Nicely done videos and shots ❤❤😊😊

Catching humans in the scene , that makes it really stand out. I enjoyed seeing the " big " kid swinging ... I loves swings , even as an adult , like riding a bike all laughter and smiles. The things that you treasure , are the simple moments. Good photo's along the path too Steve, adding humans into the scene , gives deeper meaning.
Thank you for sharing Sakura. I was fortunate enough to experience the season last year in Gifu. This August I will travel to Koyasan, and Tokushima for Awaodori festival. Inspired by your example, I will be sure to bring my Retina IIIc.
