A GRILLED PEPPER SALAD …
are a great accompaniment to various dishes of Portuguese cuisine.
We can also say that goes well with everything!
The peppers can be green, red or yellow; they are all equally good and can be consumed in many different ways.
This is a simple version of grilled peppers with a potentially relevant trick - put the peppers in cling film for 5-10 minutes after grilling to make pealing easier.
(Some people have complaints with the digestion of peppers! Because peppers are hard to digest - especially the peel. When the peppers are grilled, then they are digestible, since the cell structures are then split and no peel is present. Therefore, this recipe of grilled peppers salad is also good for these people.)
Once prepared, they can be stored in the refrigerator in a closed box for 3-4 days without losing their flavor.
👉🏼 INGREDIENTS:
o 4 large peppers (green, red or yellow)
o 2 clove garlic, cut into fine pieces
o sea-salt
o pepper
o olive oil
o some vinegar (who likes)
Aluminum- and cling film is required!
Oven: 220°C / ca. 20 - 25 minutes (Every 10 minutes turn the peppers)
