Fun game with some lovely looking armies! One note that no one else has pointed out yet; Infravisors don't give the whole unit +1 BS. it only gives the character that is equipped with one +1 BS. it does give nightfighting, which does apply to the whole unit tho. That said, it seemed like it had very little on the game anyway, tho. Looking forward to more battle-reports with Raven Guard! My main loyalist army.

Ok I think I might have a unit that could take on the firedrakes: An EC command squad (9 guys) accompanying a praetor with thunder hammer and paragon blade, jump packs on them all on the theory that they will get the initiative; and for weapons, power fists and lightning claws on all of them as that is a combo command squads can take (so you will have 4 attacks per guy on the charge at I2 due to EC bonus, unless they hold the line then down to 3 of course), and you can give them all combi-meltas to get a potentially devastating first volley in before you charge. And a chaplain too of course, with thunder hammer/lightning claw, sonic shriekers if desired too on the characters. If they don't hold the line you'd get 36 power fist attacks in before him and with the chaplain and praetor, 11 thunder hammer attacks. I think it stands a decent/good chance, particularly if you take combi meltas on everyone to unload first.

Now I’ll get some flak but huscarls are good match against firedrakes they all can have solar gauntlets which are Str10 ap1 and storm shield and with solar Marshall warlord with them they can be WS6 and have battle harden when charged so they are great at breaking other elite units and just tanking their charges just like fire drakes

A little roster mistake, Master of the legion have to be a Warlord, so that chapllain could not be one. Fun to see you play tho, as always! Keep it up!

So awesome seeing some Salamanders on the table, it's such a shame about the glaive being nerfed into oblivion!! I would really recommend looking into the mournival fix for horus heresy 2, really makes salamanders feel not horrid.

Invictarus suzerains are one of the best melee units in the game. They cost the same as domitars with their own thunderhammers
