Amazing! I lived in Plymouth, MA when I was in grade school back in the late 70’s. We would take regular trips to Salem all the time. It’s completely different now of course because we all know time doesn’t stop for anyone. Loved seeing all new attractions. Thanks for taking me along on your spooky adventure through present day Salem!
It was our pleasure! So happy you enjoyed the video! So much history up there, it must have been very interesting growing up in that area! Thank you so much for tuning in! Happy Halloween!
It certainly is the ultimate test of a relationship to road trip together and not be tempted to leave one or the other at a rest stop haha we got very lucky and travel well together. It’s been a lot of fun! Thank you for watching! Happy Halloween!
Welcome! Thanks so much for subscribing! We love Florida and do quite a bit of vlogs down there, of course planning to do a lot more soon! Thanks for checking out the channel! Hope you had a wonderful and safe Halloween!
A few things... You're incredibly brave getting a selfie with Michael Myers. Those 90's Halloween candy buckets are the best! The Hocus Pocus house is so cool!
Great video!! Salem is the very, very best! I visit there every year! Just wanted to send a friendly clarification, the Salem Witch Memorial is for the victims of the Witch Trials, however, their bodies are not buried in the Salem cemetery as you stated. In fact, being accused witches the bodies of the deceased were not worthy enough to be formally buried, especially not in town, many of the bodies can be found in neighboring Danvers as well as near Gallows Hill. Thanks again for the great video, just wanted to give you some clarification on the cemetery there.
I love Salem if you ever get the chance you gotta visit Peabody Essex museum right now through April 2022 has documents from witch hysteria etc. and more. Proctor's ledge in Danvers (Salem town) originally first Salem is the hanging site. Most people don't know Connecticut is where the first and start of witch hysteria in America before Salem in 1692. For more spooky events: witch walk let's you take part in a ritual and Omen hosts a seance you can take part in, haunted ghost tour, and on halloween (samhain) pronounced s-ow-in Sabbat ritual as well. In Danvers there's the foundation of the house the girls had experienced spectral attack and tituba lived still exists. In my opinion if you do these things and trolley and possibly ferry to Boston it's hard not to have an awesome time in salem.
We actually did go through the display at the Peabody Essex Museum. Super cool! We wanted to see the hanging site but unfortunately it got dark and we were running out of time! But I’m absolutely going to reference your comment on the next trip up there! So much awesome information! Thank you so much for watching the vlog and for the great comment! We truly appreciate it!
Looks like I had some bad information, note to self, ask an actual tour guide historical questions, not the person in line behind you 😂 thanks for the correction! Thanks for watching!!
We were very close to stopping at Lizzie’s, but it just wasn’t feasible this go around unfortunately. We were driving from sleepy hollow ny, and then headed back to cleveland so there was a little too much driving already. The thought did cross my mind though! It is definitely on the list for next time! Thanks for watching our video! Have an awesome Halloween!
You guys are super cute! Myself,my fiancé and my daughter just came back from Salem and we already want to go back! A town that is Halloween everyday is definitely the best place to be!!
Awe thank you! We had a blast, I’m glad you guys had such a good time as well! That’s such a cool family trip. I’m sure your daughter had so much fun with everyone in costume and excitement going on! Like spooky Disney World haha Thanks for watching our video! Have an awesome Halloween season 🎃
