“OPTIMISM… is a CHOICE”
You’ve heard that before? Yeah - me too. But, just because we ‘know’ something is true, doesn’t mean we’ve fully grasped the significance of the concept… nor does it mean we have integrated it into our daily actions. I need that constant reminder: Optimism is a Choice.
As much as anyone, Salespeople need an optimistic mindset; even the best deal with a ton of rejection. When facing challenges and difficulties in Sales (or any other area of life) the more Optimistic our mindset, the more likely the outcome will be a positive one (or - at least it will be better than it COULD have been, had we brought a Pessimistic mindset to the situation.)
