The Mountain Trainer Mid GTX is a lightweight men’s summer alpine trekking boot with a robust suede leather and fabric upper plus waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® protection.
Designed to provide extra flexibility and increased comfort on both ascents and descents during alpine trekking in mixed and technical terrain, the Mountain Trainer Mid GTX has a new midsole with dual-density Bilight Technology which is ergonomically shaped to cradle your foot and provide all-day comfort on longer hikes.
At the ankle, the Flex Collar allows natural movement and adaptability during descents for extended comfort, even when carrying a heavy pack. Underfoot, the lightweight, compact Vibram® Wrapping Thread Combi (WTC) sole delivers solid yet forgiving walkability. And SALEWA’s patented 3F System provides flexibility, support and a blister-free fit from day one. In addition, the GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort lining delivers optimized weather protection and climate comfort.

These are a solid boot. Great fit and comfort. Wherever I find myself, these boots rise to the challenge. Low mountains trails and fire tracks, no problem. Rocky assents, no problem. High altitude forests with rocks and roots, no problem. The comfort, protection, support and traction they offer is just about perfect for the mountains trails here in the north of Spain.

Good shoes for narrow foot. The lacing system could be better. It unties after five minutes of walking until you lace it with two nots. The fabric of the laces is probably to blame.

My vibran outsoles gave up on me on the first descent. Chunks of the Vibram ripped out.

I love this boot. Why did you stop making them? The Mountain Trainer 2’s have ugly bright neon colors. I don’t want a bright colored trekking boot.

Di ujung sepatu salewa mudah terbuka.dan saya tidak tahu bagaimana caranya untuk merekatkan kembali di ujung sepatu salewa. Model sepatu saya persis yang ada dalam video ini.😢

las peores botas de montaña que me he comprado en mi vida, antes fabricaban botas buenas ahora fabrican botas malas, la horma muy estrecha, para pie chino, una costura todo lo largo del talon en la zona de rozamiento ...cuando suepre tienen que estar en la puntera, la suela rigida ( como tiene que ser para una bota de montaña, no de paseo) pero la caña muy flexible, con lo cual el es el tobillo el que hace todo el trabajo de estabilidad con el riesgo que eso supone .... lo unico bueno es que son bonitas.... 220€ metidos en un cajon, no me atrevo ni a regalarlas por si acaban rompiendose un tobillo, por las botas.
