Not trespassing. That is a local spot. Only need discovery pass. I am nisqually. I net this river every year for the last 20 years of my life. Their is this spot and the mounts road Bridge for locals. Get your facts straight.
I used to live in the RV park where this is located for 2 years (Riverbend Campground) and you can fish this river without trespassing if you have your license, pay the fee for the park, or have a tribal card. The tribe members are the only ones allowed to net fish on a boat. If you see the tribal members, you let them do what they need to do. The tribal members that fish from the shore are often very helpful and taught my son how to gut salmon. I don't get why you are tripping about this video.
101 on how not to net and loose a fish, 2:10. He was lucky though ussualy hittng the line or netting the fish from top down, causes the barbless octopus hook to un twist it self from the fish's mouth. I have lost many fish from people not knowing how to net a salmon properly. Good Job!
Is that spot the wheelchair access fishing spot? I went today to checkout that river(1st time there), and that was the only spot that I can find that has parking.
No so you can only go a little bit past the bridge and its private probably like maybe a hundred yards from the bridge and it becomes private property just down from the bridge you can go pay to fish its like 15 bucks a day but good spot for drift fishing
