Thanks for the video. Good to see you out there fishing looking for that amazing stick fish as you got it or fish on a stick. Perhaps you’ll show us how that done in the next video next time my friend may you and your family have a blessed day.
Next time you go out fishing try to find some mint and rub it on your skin. Mint keeps mosquitos away! A Native American taught me this just a couple years back and I’m not wasting my money on trying lavender
Thanks for not snagging these fish! I simply love how you are opting to use a technique that is as far from flossing/snagging these fish as possible. I'm guessing you don't twitch jigs at these fish as it's too much of a snag fest even though some would bite a twitched jig.
@@fathersonoutdoors8049 I'd just use float/eggs....only because I love a good egg bite under the float. Screw the egg mess. Well worth it! Q for you - is this spot/river open to the public, or is this a tribal only fishery and/or location? Sadly, I'l probably never make it out that way, as I'm blocked by a ferry, or a really long drive up the coast.
@Elparquito anyone can fish it, you'd just have to buy a tribal fishing license. I will say access is limited, this spot is my parents property, they allow their campers to fish this spot
I have that same rod. Fantastic rod, i also have the 1002, makes for a good fight but not good in current. How do I rent the trailer/ campground for next year?
@@fathersonoutdoors8049 Whats the general season on the sooes? I was on the makah tribe website and saw that it was open for like 3 days? is that normal or is that just an emergency closure?
@@fathersonoutdoors8049 Yeah...I'm looking at where you are on the map. Would be hard to get across to the deep from the other side. I've got a boat and come out quite a bit. We stay in Neah usually but have stayed in Hobuck. When my wife and dogs get tired of bobbing around I'm always looking for other options of things to do. Love your content....met you and your boy at the store this summer. Met your relatives at the restaurant. Love it out there. Do you guys have accommodations for rent in Neah? We love the Cape but don't want our money going to the wrong place...
What i don't get is why you people gotta use 96 pound braid?? It beyond me.. snd ,59 pound test lines?? It takes one third the fish weight to reel it in with the drag set right. Light line catch record's never get crushed because of that.
@Chasinchrome I live in a place where no one wants to drive hours to fish anyways. If you think you know what river it is you're probably wrong. I always say where I am if it's my home river
