Went up to Astoria Oregon to do some Salmon and Steelhead fishing with my buddy Peter and boy was I in for it!! We ended up having all sorts of adventures, catching salmon, steelhead and a couple other species along the way.
I ended up catching my first salmon ever, and it definitely lived up to the hype although it was a smaller fish. I am going to have to head back there in the Spring of 2020 to see if I can hook up with a big one next time!
Hope everybody is getting out there, trying out lures, bait, and figuring out how to better themselves as anglers. I know I learned a ton about salmon fishing! Feel free to comment down below what your favorite bait or lure is for catching salmon.
