Carol, I absolutely love your flosstubes, please do not ever change, you are perfect in every way!!! We need more people that have your values and are not afraid to state what they are to anyone who is listening. I, too, am very tired of being told that everything I believe in is wrong, foolish, or too old fashion or religious. ??? who are they to lecture on values? You have a good, faithful and wonderful following, so you are doing things right and beautiful. Love your finish and I love all the things that you collect and want to do. I am a collector and I want to do every single last one that I have in my craft room. I am 78 and will have to live another 78 years and not purchase one more thing (that is not happening any time soon, LOL!). I will continue until it is my time to depart and hopefully my daughter will want to carry on in my place. Sending blessings, love and hugs from Arizona.

Carol….please continue being true to yourself. That is who you are. Your faith is part of what makes you who you are. I LOVE watching your videos. You remind me so much of my grandmother who taught me to sew, crochet, and knit. She instilled in me so many of the qualities l see in you. When l watch your videos, it brings back memories of my times with my grandmother. I would LOVE to purchase one of your bunnies. Having something made by your hands would mean as much to me as a blanket that l have that was made by my grandmother. I wanted to thank you for the time you put into your videos. I get so much pleasure watching them. I appreciated your information about the different brands of silk thread. I have no local shop except for major chains like Joanne and haven’t taken the plunge to order them for a project . Your information helped me understand the price differences and what I’m actually getting. Also I’m sorry some people feel the need to be critical. It’s hard to please everyone. However, I must say that after several years of watching flosstube channels I find the crinkling of bags a happy sound. I think I associate it with cross stitch. Thanks again!

Another great video Carol. I don’t have the patience to deal with ridiculous people, glad you can laugh it off. Keep up the good work. I have told my kids that when their Dad and I go my daughter has to go through my quilting and stitching things and my son has to go through the fish by, hunting and garage. I told them family first and then donate, donate, donate. They helped me go through their great-grandparents property and I have promised it won’t be that much stuff. Lol.

I enjoy your videos and look forward to them every time you post one. I don't think you hold things up too short a time - if I want to see something a bit longer, I pause the video. I even zoom in if I want to look at something more closely, such as to read the verse on something. I think that you should move through what you want to show us at whatever pace you want. We can watch it again if we think we missed something. And if someone thinks that you are too religious, there are certainly other channels that they can watch. I love how you are, I enjoy your sense of humor, your wit, your self-deprecation, your taste in stitching projects, your quilting ... thanks for everything. Don't change. (You see, I can be sassy, too! )

I love it that you have no time or cares about the critics. I think it is referred to as "keyboard courage". Loved that you showed all of the charts and I for one could watch you show your charts all day. I have an idea and a challenge for flosstubers out there. How about a "stitchibuster"? What you say? It comes from the ever so popular filibuster. You could just show all the charts all the WIPS all of the cross stitching things for an indefinite period of time or until you had no voice. LOL!!! None of my friends cross stitch😢 and closest LNS’s are 2+ hours and 1 to 3 mountains, live in mountains of WV, away. So, I don’t want to make this about me however, I have to tell you something…I have been stitching since I was 12, I am 65 in July. I had a needlework shop for 15 years. The economy took a hit and people weren’t cross stitching like they are now. The business started to take the love of stitching away. After closing and several years passed I started stitching again. I came across your floss tube 1st one I had watched and was so excited I stayed up all night stitching, my husband got up and there I was still stitching and watching all your floss tubes. Oh well, after 30+ years he should know by now how nuts I can be. You had talked about kitten stitcher and so I next had to watch all of hers. Today I probably have enough charts to open a store, lol. I want to thank you for sharing all your beautiful stitching and quilts and helping bring my love of cross stitch back to me. I met you once at the silver needle and mentioned that I sometimes got dizzy, later I found out it wasn’t you at all but I had a sinus infection. I have felt bad ever since mentioning that to you and wanted to apologize. I just wanted to share how your you tubes had and have impacted me in such a positive, good way. A big thank you from my ❤️

Another wonderful video!! You have become my favorite Flosstuber and I always look forward to “your weekend” to do a video. I love that you don’t hide your faith or apologize for it!! I have heard several Flosstubers comment that they plan to remove the Christian verse from their sampler. They have that right to do that but it makes me sad and very concerned for anyone going in that direction. Your Charlotte Frost is so gorgeous and makes me want to stitch it. The Jane Atkinson piece is fabulous! I can't get over how big that sucker is going to be! As for the critics, they need to get over themselves! Don't change a thing about how you roll! Sassy is good! I just can't wrap my head around all the choices you have when deciding what to stitch next. For now I try to stitch one piece until it is done before I start the next one. Thank you Carol for your informative video. I’m sure it will help many. YourJane Atkinson is breathtaking! I wouldn’t worry about critics. Your work is there for the viewing. I was gifted a copy of Ann Raynor and have yet to start it but I will soon. That and the Worcester Museum samplers are my first loves. I love the process of kitting up a new project. Choosing threads and linens is my favorite step of the process. My Mary Starkey requires a lot of reading and planning. JoAnne Harvey runs a tight ship and Exemplarery samplers are perfection! We all have our journeys but being flexible and creative is part of the process. Thank you Carol for sharing your journey with us😍

Love you too!❤ I remember the day when I heard a young man being called a Jesus freak. My first thought was wow what a compliment. I can't wait till I show Jesus like this young man and somebody calls me a Jesus freak!! When you said you were going to go through your market haul rather fast I turned the play back spead down so I would be able to take notes. I did chuckle because it did make you sound drunk😊😀 I appreciate all that you and your husband put into these videos. They are informative and educational!
