I WAS SCREAMING WHEN YOU GOT TO THE GRAVEYARD SCENE. i was like JUST YOU WAIT GIRL!!! he was in love with felix. he says he wasn't but he was lying to himself. he orchestrated the whole thing to get close to felix bc he had a crush that turned into an obsession. felix pushed him away when he started cleaning his room so he made up a sob story knowing felix loves a charity case. i think he decided to get saltburn when felix learned the truth and this fake relationship he created in his head started to crumble. if he can't have felix, then he'll just own the house that he's buried in. i don't think he planned or knew about saltburn from the beginning. he's just a sociopath who had his 1st gay crush and fucked it alll the way up 😭😭😭

If you didn't already know about Oliver I need you in my life because YOU FIGURED ALL THAT SHIT out! Except I think first he just wanted to be close to Felix, then he became more and more obsessed with him, then he wanted to BE him. He gave everyone what they wanted. But he couldn't lose it when it so when Felix firmly rejected him, he went after the next best thing - Saltburn. In the end he is Felix. But alone. Farleigh was awful to Oliver before he even met him - the snotty crack about his jacket when they passed in the quad on the first day. I think Farleigh, being the poor relation with a "begging bowl" has some self hatred and projects it on the other "poor" boy - Oliver. I love this film. So gorgeous, stellar acting across the board, the soundtrack was banging, Fennell framed Elordi like she was licking him up in every shot, every detail was meticulous, and love it or hate it - no one was bored LOL. Beautiful depraved obsession. Enjoyed your reaction and subscribed :)
