Salted egg is a preserved food product made by soaking chicken eggs in brine ( salt solution ). Homemade Salted eggs can be used in breakfast. Salted egg recipe can be used to make healthy salads.

Salted Chicken Eggs Ingredients
11-12 fresh chicken eggs
1 cup rock salt
1 liter water
How to make a salted egg
In a pot, bring the water to boil then put the salt. Stir to dissolve. Once the salt dissolves completely turn off the heat and let it cool.
Test the eggs if its fresh by placing in the bucket of water. If the eggs lays on its side at the bottom it is quite fresh. Wash thoroughly.
Place the fresh eggs in a big glass jar. Pour the brine solution into the jar make sure that all eggs are fully submerged.
Close the lid and store it somewhere at room temperature for 15 days.
On the end of the last day, test one egg by boiling for 20 minutes. If you are satisfied with the saltiness then boil the rest. If not, then leave for another 2 to 3 day.
Mark the salted eggs and refrigerate up to a month.
