Know u firm pon ur recipe but just to share that I use a little diluted Saltfish water instead of plain water and won't have to add salt. Gives the batter heavy Saltfish flavor. Plus I add a little tups of curry powder just for a little colour and slight flavor. One love.

I normally let mine sit for a while because of the baking powder to let it bubble. Then fry in lots of hot oil so it can float and fry quick without absorbing too much oil. It comes out airy and fluffy.
