Their incredible creatures. It just sucks because most people think their blood thirsty monsters, but guess what I'm not one of them. Steve Irwin inspired me to love all animals even the dangerous and scary ones and one day I will work with these amazing animals and bring up Facts that this channel brings to us.

We need to spread more information on these misunderstood reptiles. First of all, who knew they were intelligent and protective mothers.

Hey guys, so which do you think is more aggressive between crocodiles and alligators? I'm not sure, but I would say the crocodile. My dad has a retention pond behind his house in FL. An alligator lives there. I fed it chicken and chicken bones. But he seemed to be mostly a scaredy cat. Did you come across an answer in your research?
@AnimalFactFiles
@AnimalFactFiles 2 года назад
Oh this is a tough question. I didn't come across anything in the research. My guess is crocodiles get more of a reputation because they're more widespread around the world and there are more species, so it's like... attacks are more likely to happen. Y'know what I mean? So they're reported more frequently than alligators just because there are more opportunities for interacti with humans

@@AnimalFactFiles Yes, I totally understand. And I think I have to agree. When you're right, you are right 👍🏻! 😊 Can't argue with sound reasoning.

What is the relative size of one of these vs a Komodo dragon?
@AnimalFactFiles

At max size, komodo dragons are about half their length. Here's our komodo dragon episode for reference: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kqiqAgmXsxM.html

Saltwater Crocodiles may be large, but this does not mean they lack predators, saltwater crocodiles get preyed on by great white sharks and orcas, both are larger than saltwater crocodiles, saltwater crocodiles are 23 ft long, great white sharks are 30 ft long, and orcas are 33 ft long.
@essechange7231

Big cats and pythons occasionally prey on them as well
@Krypton2113
@Krypton2113 2 года назад
Dude I don't know where you're getting these Bozo facts from but full grown saltwater crocodiles have no predators also where are you getting great white sharks going to 30 ft it's a common misconception that crocodiles and sharks can grow to this size a modern day saltwater crocodile can only grow to 16 ft same goes for the great white and orcas are only 18 to 26 ft in length at full size the biggest saltwater crocodile was only 20 ft and 3 inches so that instantly proves you wrong also great whites never take on prey items bigger than themselves they're far too worrisome to do such a feat also orcas don't even live in the same place as saltwater crocodiles in saltwater crocodiles can easily hold their own against a great white considering they're much more aggressive and way stronger than a great white get your facts straight
@Krypton2113
@Krypton2113 2 года назад
@@essechange7231 again it's a common misconception that big cats can even wish on taking such a big behemoth considering the fact that tigers and Asiatic Lions will only go and attack crocodiles like mugger crocodiles which are the ones you see in the videos of the tigers attacking crocodiles mugger crocodiles can only grow 13 ft in length so it's easy game for a tiger or a lion but the same cannot be said for the saltwater crocodile the saltwater crocodile can grow to 16.5 ft in length that's a massive crocodile that's the size of 10 modern sized men far too strong and far too powerful for a tiger although I will admit it depends on what territory they're in if it's on land a tiger would almost indefinitely win if it were in water the tiger has no chance and a python you're kidding whoever thinks a python has even the smallest chance of defeating a full grown saltwater crocodile is definitely messed up in the head
@Krypton2113
@Krypton2113 2 года назад
@@essechange7231 And trust me take it from someone who has been studying animals for over 10 years now I'm talking about myself if it wasn't already obvious
@indyreno2933
@indyreno2933 2 года назад
@dogs have noses that are squishy, actually, the Great White Shark (Carcharodon carcharias) is actually 30 ft long, making it the largest extant predatory fish, also the Orca (Orcinus orca) is actually 33 ft long, making the orca one of the largest predatory animals, but not the largest predatory animal, as the Sperm Whale (Physeter macrocephalus), which is 66 ft long and the Baird's Beaked Whale (Berardius bairdii), which is 42 ft long are both larger than the orca, the Saltwater Crocodile (Crocodylus porosus) is 23 ft long, making the saltwater crocodile smaller than both the great white shark, also both the Great White Shark (Carcharodon carcharias) and Orca (Orcinus orca) are the only natural predators to a Saltwater Crocodile (Crocodylus porosus).
