As a coin collector I buy on RU-vid auctions. My “love to sort” brain is thinking, put items that are flea market bound in a tote and stack the yokes against a wall. Space efficient, and then come flea market season you can grab and load. Thank you for another journey outside of my home
Taco......something some resellers do on RU-vid is pre-recorded videos of items they want to sell. Folks comment the letter or number you assigned to the item down in the comments and it's first come first served. Have an email for folks to send there Paypal, Zelle, Square, or whatever to, as well as there mailing address, and you can send them a invoice. They pay, then you ship. Cuts through alot of the fees and gives you the freedom to handle the process at your leisure. Just an idea
If those recycle cans were in my area I would've bought them and placed the can one at my workplace. There are so many cans thrown away that would save so much
Usually, after the holidays, if people clean out their kitchens, or their basements, much shows up in thrift stores. Also, right before Thanksgiving, so the inlaws don't comment.😉
Is EJ aka Orange slice…seems so long ago I can’t remember….Bell collectors are a dying breed sadly….They are older people like me….I AM NOT A BELL COLLECTOR….😂 Glad you don’t sell the bad bubble wrap it’s called integrity….But you can sell it cheap to recoup some of your money, just tell people you have it and let them see it….Or give a roll to your regular customers like box truck guy…it could be used to stuff around a box of items to fill in spaces…I like these videos….❤
Ahhh! Love watching you go through the boxes to see what you have! It’s like your own private treasure hunt! Take care….you & Salsa stay warm & safe! Blessings always! ❤️✝️
When you have a whole bunch of one product, like bells, look to see if there is a local bells collecting club, near, or even online. That's the place to sell such items.
The painting on the wall at 6.18 is of the Lake District in the UK. That is a well known print here and has travelled a long way! On the price of gold and silver, your currency is linked to that value and so is ours.
Hi Taco . I like going along with you it’s fun . I think watching you go through boxes and you talking about the stuff and if it would sell or not it’s great. I mean I love all the things you normally do trash picking and such but this is fun . Your day to day in the off season as they call it. Fun fact about stuff it’s wonderful. Take care . I’m trying to stay warm it’s only 19 degrees here in Illinois and the winds are making it feel like 5 degrees. PEACE. ✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️🥰🥰🥰🦮🦮🦮🦮🦮🦮🦮🥰🥰🥰💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Yes, not a fan of liquidators who come in to flea mkt with junk selling at set price per hour that lowers as day goes on. Interesting items in your boxes. Thanks for sharing.
I’d like to see the Salvation Army’s prices on hard goods as the SA in Grand Rapids has raised their prices and are as high as Goodwill’s where I no longer shop.
Maybe spending more time on What Not and less time at the flea market will make and save you more $$ especially for the smaller items, bundled up ,(especially tge bells). You have tons of bubble wrap... and don't include shipping costs. Maybe join forces with Renee?
Hey Taco, I really enjoyed this video. It was good to see Salsa again. It's so funny how you call her the creature. She is a beauty for sure. I am not likeing this cold weather in the negative is not good. I drink too much coffee.
I have seen some online auctions for collectables. Maybe those bells might be of interest to a certain people who collects them? You might create some revenue that way.
Hey taco enjoyed your video nice to see how you sort stuff out I would not know where to start hope you make plenty of money when you start selling again ❤
I just caught up with your posts and absolutely fell in love with the journey in the woods!!!!Those quartz rocks are beautiful that got washed out! All the metal scrap. You need to keep one of those fold up wagons that get scrapped and take it with you to bring treasures back. Rocks to line your plants or boarder your house. Cool stuff! Maybe wear a backpack! I am a shut invalid now75 and used to explore but only in CA and Utah. So beautiful there! Loved the ride in the snow to see farm and animals and your wonderful narration. Wish you had hours and hours of exploring. Love seeing you go through stuff! I do now understand you know what you are doing, just fearful of breakage. Take bells to your Good Lamber…sales. I bet you could sell them all if you display at the indoor sales. I can’t find you on the other sites eBay and Etsy???? Peace Out Dude! You are a keeper! Jody
Wish I could shop your garage, I live to far. All your licenses look really nice on your walls. I could use a roll of bubble wrap. Just rambling……..have a nice day👍
I suspect your 10 cent candle holder was a kid's art class project. I never quite got the interest in the various metal tumblers that have been all the rage the past few years, but then again I very rarely drive around with a drink.
I miss Salvation Army. They had the best kids book section and $1 clothes. Closed due to theft and no one shopping there. Everyone else treats me like a rich flipper. It's a hobby/savings and I make nothing back in return 90% of the time.. BTW, decent frames are getting hard to find here. No clue.
Taco stacks! Taco stacks! Taco stacks! For the win of the day! I appreciate you! Thanks for taking us along! Anyday hanging out with you is such a terrific day ! Stay safe stay great and keep up the good work!!!
Hello Taco. When you were in the thrift store and looking at the golf noticed a sled to the left, and it appeared in good condition. My best friend had the exact same sled... same brand. We're talking mid 1960's. In my opinion, it was worth looking at. I also think the Bob Marley shirt (prev. video) had value. I'm just sayin', since I want you to make as much money as possible! Keep pickin'!
If you ever do buy or find an insulated cup, invest it a Yeti cup. I have had several brands, none of which worked as promised. However, the Yeti brand works exactly as advertised, They keep your hot drinks hot and your cold drinks cold until you are done drinking them. Whether you are done in a couple of hours or 8 hours later. They actually work. Here in Texas, I pick mine up at Goodwill when I see them. Usually for $2 to $4 dollars depending on the size. Yeti's sell for $29.95 and up depending on the size.
I'll take my 2 pack Costco stainless water bottles for half the price of one Stanley cup any day. lol I think the Stanley craze is stupid. Sure- hydrate. But it's really just a story about a hail mary marketing ploy from an older corporation that will probably disappear in another 10 years. Meh. Great video. My GWs are horrid garbage pits full of Dollar Tree fodder and stretched out, stained and ripped WalMart tshirts you can literally get for less on clearance new at the actual store.
If you can find an Allen Barbie doll. Grab it because people are selling him for big money. There were flatie dolls. Flat little dolls. I had them when I was little. I read that if you can find them they , are wroth a lot of money.
TS, have you considered a space at an indoor flea market/antique or collector's mall where you don't have to be there? Would help clear out some stuff in your storage room and hopefully bring in some money.
I use to sell at flea markets and a guy asked me how much for a certain item and I said $1. He offered me .50c, so I smashed it on the ground. If it's not worth $1, it's not worth selling. Lol
I agree I do sales as often as I can and it just irks me for people to say give me 2 or 3 for a dollar. Especially if the things are definitely worth much more. I tell them no thanks and then give it to a person who buys a good amount from me. I’d rather give it to someone that needs it than be taken over.
Unless you have something spectacular, bells really don't sell well. Sad because at one time they were so collectible and there are some beautiful pieces out there.
It’s not that gold has went up, it’s the dollar that’s gone down. Ever since the Fed got their hands on printing presses, ‘quantitative easing’ has ruined fiat currency.
Could u not sell the bubble wrap that's not perfect at a reduced price, putting a note to say its not perfect for a wile see how it goes, or maybe that not work for you just a thought Taco.❤
I dont understand. When you throw thinga away just because YOU dont think it will sell. Why be in the business. Can't you network and give the stuff u don't sell to people like box truck guy. They will sell it and make the money. There are people that would buy bags of things for crafting. You should try to find people that will take things and sell it them and help keep stuff out of the landfills. Years ago you were fun to watch. Now you're always complaining. It makes me sad for you. I hope someone or something comes along that makes you happy again. Take care.
Why should he? Even He whould get 5$ for a giant bag of "Trash" He maybe whould loose Money because He is waiting for the people who whould Pick it Up at His Home. Maybe the dont Show Up in time so He has to wait even longer. 5$ for 2 lost hours of freedom? Sounds Like a great Deal. Even taking IT to the Market IS nothing more than backpain
Why don't you make a website for us to buy from you, such as a lot of bells? Maybe Renee can help you make that site and list it for you. Why always sell it for only a dollar at a flea market when you can sell it to us for more? It is like you are throwing money away by selling it so cheap at the flea market or donating it.
