Remember that scene where that guy stabs Sam in season two after the demon child Hunger Games thing? Well, I'm gonna attempt at writing it like a book. Here goes nothing. "Sam!" Sam turns away from Jake, who lay unconscious in the mud, after hearing Dean's voice call out his name. Relief quickly took over as he walked towards his elder brother, clutching his tan jack covering a wound on his arm. Dean, upon seeing Sam alive, took a quick sigh, releasing the stress and worry he'd been carrying. Alongside Dean walked Bobby, who didn't exactly have time to react because in the background, Jake had woken up and scooped his knife on the ground. Dean's eyes widened as his heart stopped beating for a moment. He watched as Jake came barreling towards his little brother, knife in hand. "Sam, look out!" He yelled but was too late. Jake had already stabbed his knife deep into Sam's back, twisting it around. Sam let out a pained groan, then an exhausted sigh as his injured body began stumbling to the ground. Dean picked up his pace into a sprint, as did Bobby, "No!" Dean launched himself towards Sam, falling to his knees as he was just barely able to catch Sam's body. While Bobby chased after Jake, Dean began trying to help Sam. "Sam!" Dean started, holding Sam's body, which had fallen right into his arms. "Sam..Sam! Hey, come here, let me look at you." Dean felt around Sam's back until his hand felt warm blood. He glared at it, feeling his worst nightmares coming true. He pushed Sam back a little, trying to get a look at his face. "Hey, look- look at me. It's not even that bad. It's not even that bad, alright? Sammy? Sam!" Dean practically croaked, holding Sam out in front of him, who's eyes flickered shut as his body moved around like a rag doll in his older brother's arms. "Hey, listen to me, we're gonna patch you up. You'll be as good as new. Huh? I'm gonna take care of you, I'm gonna take care of you. I got you. That's my job, right? Watch out for my pain-in-the-a$$ little brother. Sam? Sam?" Dean held Sam's head, trying to keep it from lolling side to side. "Sam?" Dean repeated, his voice, a cracked whimper. "Sammy!?" He yelled, a desperate attempt at getting Sam to open his eyes, glaring at his brother's dead face, blood just lightly oozing out of the mouth. "No..no, no, no, no." Dean mumbled, pulling Sam into his arms, letting his head rest on his own shoulder. "Oh, God-" Dean shakily muttered, gripping Sam's messy dark brown hair. For a few moments, Dean just stayed like that. Hugging his dead little brother, refusing to cry, though he couldn't help but let a few rouge tears fly down his pale face. His one responsibility was what he'd failed to protect. "SAM!" Okay, hope you enjoy, I surely enjoyed torturing myself by studying that scene seventeen times over.
