SPOILERS FOR 14x17!
I'll never recover from that scene.
I was obviously expecting a hurt!Sam/protective!Dean scene because of the promo and the photo, but I thought it would be something super short. After the phone call with Mary I thought the scene was over BUT THEN IT WASN'T AND I DIED.
OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
I won't even get into too many details because I think this video says it all.
I'll just say that j2 killed it as always. Whenever I think they can't possibly kill me more with their talent than they've done already, they prove me wrong.
I can't cope with how talented they are.
Oh and having Sam wanting his last words Dean heard from him to be those... yeah sure, let's pretend I'm okay.
I know this turned out long, but I still think there were so many more scenes I could have added. There's never "too many" when it comes to scenes of Dean protecting Sam and worrying about him.
I hope you're gonna like this and that it won't bore you even tho it's so long!

My favorite moment is when Dean tells him "don't you dare think that's there's anything past or present that I would put in front of you" We all knew that from the beginning, but Dean outright acknowledged he would put Sam before anything. At the moment he was choosing him over saving the world.

Sam pretty much did the same thing He knew the consequences of using the Book of the Damned but he didnt care as long as Dean was cured of the Mark Or when Dean became a demon and Sam kept injecting him with blood to try to cure him He knew he might be killing Dean himself, but it was still better than knowing Deans out there living as a demon, just like when Dean almost killed Sammy trying to cure his addiction of demonic blood

Despite the situation this is the first time (and the car scene in 14x12) SPN has openly acknowledged Dean's sacrifice and his role in Sam's life without any sarcasm from Dean and awkwardness from Sam. Our boys have Evolved and are more affectionate 😭😭😭 We need more scenes of them being more open with each other Lord knows they need more love from each other 😭😭❤❤

That's cause it's true he cares about cas too but Sam and cass have hurt dean loads of times and he still always there for them what made me cry was Cass has beaten up dean many times and dean under the influence of the mark of Cain beat Cass once then when Cass offer to heal dean he refused and these r the words that made me cry besides I had it coming I don't like that dean blames himself always sure dean can a bit of jerk at times but he's a good man and my no 1 favourite character

I'm sorry, but you are forgetting the episode where the trickster, aka gabriel trapped Sam in a timeloop. Sam had to watch his brother die over and over and over again, who knows how many times and then live 6 months without him before getting him back.

Being trap in an infinite loop repeating the same day over and over again, and Watching your brother die that same amaount of time?? Without being able to stop it or brake that loop and not knowing how is happening?? I don't know how Sam didn't end up crazy!! He saw Dean die more than 100 times. And the "Gabriel was trying to Teach him a lesson" is bullsh*t... Because I know there are people who thinks that...

This has to be one of, if not, my favorite video of yours. I have so much to say. First off, the music choice is superb. The gradual buildup is so freakin' epic, and it sets a great tone overall at the end when Sam's waking up/healed from everything. Like, ugh, my heart. Eloisa why must you do this to us? Your parallels are so phenomenal and, like, it actually makes my heart ache. :( Poor Sam. His last words were that Dean always put him first; and, the way he said that made it seem like he thought of himself as a burden more than an equal. The slow-motion really, truly made it so poignant. It showcased the literal emotions in their facial expressions, and especially Dean whom was trying so hard to cope with the fact his brother might actually me gone from him. Every time Sam is close to death, it's not harder to watch his side of things. It's more difficult to watch Dean's-the grief that he (and Jensen) put in every scene where Sam is dying is so heartbreaking. Thanks for this lovely video.

Really well said :) The only difference I had in the reaction was it didn’t feel to me like Sam thought he was a burden but that he was saying it because he knew he was dying and he knew that one of Dean’s great fears was that he hadn’t always done enough for Sam and Sam was letting him know that he had - like the comment was a parting gift of love and acknowledgement

This was so freaking beautiful❤ through everything dean has never given up on Sam and I just love him so much. 😭❤ you can see all the emotions in his eyes every time he leans over his brother. Calling his name. You can see how much he's trying to hold in everything for his brothers sake and even for his own. You can see the relief he feels everytime Sam comes back. That moment dean sees Sam is okay and stands up, I wonder if that was improvised or if it was in the script. Cause it felt more like a Jensen reaction than a Dean one. That scene though, I watch it over and over - I love it so much. I love their relationship so much, and I envy it because I’ve never been that close to a sibling and wish I was. Beautiful video. ~

Sam and Dean's relationship is truly what has kept this show around and alive all these years. I don't think I've ever seen a relationship quite like theirs. And I've said before that every show has a love story. The fact that this show's love story is about 2 brothers who would,and have,go to the ends of the earth for one another is the true magic of this show! Because of Jared and Jensen's personally friendship that has seeped into every pore of this show,I don't think there will ever be anything like it again! And everytime I see Dean go into big brother mode for Sammy,it makes me smile and cry all at once! You did a great job of capturing that.

It's been two years and I am still coming back to this specific video. Rewatched the finale few days ago and I still don't know if it was good as it was or if they deserved a better ending. But your video gives me hope for what happened "off screen in their world" where they all come together, welcome each other, see Cas one more time before he goes off to save world and heaven, Jack by his side and the boys are back with their family, peace and calm for eternity.✨

I don't cry easy watching video edits like these, but this one had me pin tears within the first minute. Beautifully put together, all the scenes that show how devastating it is for either of them to lose their soulmate. And nobody can tell me that they're not soulmates. They are two halves of a whole.

The best sibling relationship on tv. They always put each other first. Sacrifice one another for the other. There is nothing they won’t be for each other, and they never care about the consequences. Not to mention every time Dean yells out Sammy, it’s hits me hard. I don’t think a show has made me cry, worry, scream, be so made and not know what’s happening next this much before.
