I have a brother who has a different mother but we share the same dad. I got to live with dad and my brother always hated me and my dad because of it. I love my brother and try to keep in contact with him. Even at my dad’s funeral he got up and said some horrible things. Always wish we could have had him live with us but his mother wouldn’t let him. After dad died he accused me of stealing an inheritance off him. I never got a cent it all went to my mother who my dad spent 40 years building a life with so that makes sense. I know that isn’t exactly what this song is about but it hit me right where it hurts.
I hope Bruce Springsteen gets to hear Sam, I think Bruce would give Sam some help and guidance. This lad is awesome and deserves to meet Bruce. Real music for real people.
Doesn't matter if he is singing in front of a HUGE audience or solo such as this video - his lovely voice never wavers! Kiddo's a legend. Love him to bits! 💛
I've listen to Bruce Springsteen all my life ,and your songs feel the same to me coz there so patriotic true stories and that's why I like it ,life stories what everybody can relate to 👍👍👍👍
Great vibe I'm gonna do this song. Seen a lot of big artists doing a corona unplugged with a lot of equipment or none and sound rubbish. You use a bit echo in a room. Nice
Does anyone know if he is using standard tuning here? This song seems simple to play but I can’t seem to figure it out. Seems like it’s just variations of D, C and G and A minor capo on 4th. What am I missing? TIA Edit: i think i just figured it out. He has guitar dropped 1.5 steps (low E->C#, A->F#...). In standard tuning the capo goes on 1st fret and pinky on high E string (on the 4th fret in standard tuning).
GwendalMG my pleasure man! I knew that I couldn’t be the only person confused by this. I’ve seen a couple of tutorials and they are all playing it wrong. Glad I cracked the code!
