From what I heard a long time ago, Sam actually saw Kelly impersonate him and he liked it a lot. Keenan called him up and talked him into doing this bit on the show. I'm glad he did. Sam and Kelly are a perfect match for comedy. We miss ya Sam. RIP
The best part of this is it's all about Sammy making fun of himself, and he's having a ball doing it. The coat gag just makes the whole thing. Not too many comics would be able to do a skit like this because they all take themselves so damned seriously. Not Sam. He was the real deal right up to the end. RIP, Sammy. We miss you.
Dude, she WAS one of the diamonds. She was a better actor and funnier than honestly, shit...I'd say as much as half the cast. Damon, David Allen Grier, Jim Carrey, and her were the top cast members imo. Keenen was pretty good often too. Everyone else needed to wow me on occasion for me to take notice.
Well, Sam did later do a guest appearance on Married with Children as Al Bundy's Guardian Angel during the "It's a Wonderful Life" styled Christmas episode. Oddly, Kate Segal (Peggy) was in an episode of Tales from the Crypt, which featured Sam as the voice of a sleazy guy's conscience that just woke up. The episode was "For Cryin' Out Loud", if you're wondering.
Me, too, kathy. I still mourn him, and I usually don't do that with anyone who is a comedian or a celebrity, but, I do with him. I cried when I heard he died. The only other celebrity that I was really sad about his sudden death was John Candy.
I laughed at this video, but it hurt to watch because I miss him too. When I first saw Mr. Kinison's censored act on SNL, I didn't think it was that good. Because I saw the real thing on HBO and elsewhere, I believe he was the greatest comedian since the 1980s, with Mr. Colbert being second. If you haven't heard his posthumous CD "Live From Hell", I highly recommend it.
This is undoubtedly one of the best sketches of all time on ILC. I watched that show religiously. Funny how the most famous product of the show was Mr. Jim Carrey. This sketch shows incredible timing, uncompromising delivery and the pure comic depth of both of them. I'm so happy to see this.
One of THE best sketches "In Living Color" has ever done. Shortly after FOX re-aired the episode with "The Kinisons" sketch, I heard about what happened to Sam Kinison... :'( I fuckin' MISS that dude...

It’s easy to do a generic impression of Kinson but Kelly nailed it. She got more than just the tone and volume but mirrored the cadence and the spirit of his style. Great skit!

Awesome episode and I sure miss Sam Kinison. My favorite part of this scene is towards the end when the baby says: "I want to go back! I want to go back!" Love this scene and episode so so funny:)
I always enjoyed and liked her acting and comedic skills. She could mimic other characters quite well especially playing Jim Carrey’s Wife in the episode, “Dysfunctional Home Show.”
Falcon soar, right you are . ILC was a REAL comedy show. One that didn’t care about being politically correct and pushed the boundaries on a regular basis. Some of the most unique characters ever created for tv. Totally hilarious .
keller70 his killer was taken to San Bernardino,California juvenile hall where the little bastard bragged that he killed Sam. He showed no remorse in court nor did his parents. I hope they all burn in Hell when their time comes!!!
@@stevelloyd9859 Sam never got sober, he had opiates/alcohol in his system when he died. And he was a VERY dangerous driver, his friends always said he'd get killed on the road.
