We love Scan & Go and the early hours. I bought my tires at Sam's Club but don't use their other tire services because I have found them to be so inconvenient regarding appointments. They never seem to have enough stuff in the auto department. I also need to try pickup again. I tried it twice years ago only to arrive and the order was not ready (so I shopped anyway) and the other time the order was ready except for the fridge/freezer items. It seemed to take forever for them to bring these items up. ( I think it was just bacon).

Why did they start making you show membership card at the door again? I mean, we can't check out without one so instead of using that employee to check cards, let them go help check receipts at the door when you leave cause that line is a NIGHTMARE!

Kymberly Guinn we started checking cards again because since we stopped people thought you didn’t need a membership to shop, so they would come in, get a basket or two, get to the register and get mad and yell at the cashiers because they don’t want to pay for a membership. So we’d have to put all their stuff back on the shelves. It’s just as frustrating when people tell you they’re not going to show you their cards now that we’re checking them again. We’re not doing this for fun and to get yelled at, there are actual legitimate reasons behind it.

Sam's still makes you wait in line to leave and now check recepits..The selection is unfortunately not been as good with a lot of rotten fruit since spring.I buy dog pads and last month they made them 50% thinner,less padding plus the plastic backing leaks now....After 25+ years of memberships I am not thrilled.....10 lb domino sugar is .50 more them buying at walmart....crazy....just crazy...

My gripe with the tire center is that they charge you extra mounting fees even the tires are defective.

@@frankieolguin7277 Not at my club. It's 7 am-10 am for plus members and then 10 am to 8:30 pm for regular for every day except Sunday. And then on Sunday, it's 10 am to 6:30 pm. This is just for my club it might be different for other clubs.

@@Flamenmagic self check out helps alot since thats what Sams Club provides to their customers. Costco does not have this kind of option but im guessing its because they want to ensure you are not borrowing someone elses membership.

C P you can purchase alcohol now, just have Dr. License or other government issue photo ID ready, there will be a red code instead of black that Exit Door Associate will scan in order to send your receipt to your electronic device.

Nou Long Moua my tires were out of balance as well. I went twice to get them to correct it and it still was done wrong.

Do you think the app coded itself? Do you think the ads created to promote the app magically appeared out of thin air, or the posters, banners, brochures, et cetera fell out of the bright blue sky? Here’s the point, a lot of work was done by numerous SKILLED workers in countless varying jobs to get Scan & Go up and running, and it continues to need daily updating, as well as routine maintenance. It’s not taking away jobs. It created MORE jobs you Neanderthal. Think before you open your mouth and start grunting, or in this case, start randomly fluttering your fingers on your keyboard, tablet or cell phone, also created by skilled workers that get paid to create things that enhance our lives with technology. Yeah you get the samsclub app and then you scan the barcode of the stuff you want and you pay with your credit card and then there will be a screen at the end when you pay and it will have another barcode to show that you did pay it so when you get checked then you can show them. It’s easiest than you think.

The reason they do that is because alot of things do get stolen, i was under charged by $80 once but it was the cashiers fault, not mine so i left, it's employee fault too. I always ignore the lady at the door who asks for my membership though

@@evilpimp2475 It's not worth it. The money they claim to save by trying to catch people who steal or items that didn't get charged by mistake is not worth it to make the members feel like thieves. Most of the people who are asking for the stupid membership card are volunteers. I once saw a lady with an oxigen tank next to her with air hoses going up to her nose, ridiculous. When you think about it you are being harrassed right from the beginning when you enter the store. Hell! They should be happy you are going in to spend money but instead they start by harassing you. Often items are overcharged to Member as well, which a good reason to get an overview of items. Often I've run across items that were paid for twice or even more times... We do our best to make double lines or more to keep Members from having to stand at the Exit Door any longer than absolutely needed. Its also much easier now to keep Members from being detained as long since new hand scanning devices are being utilized.

I don't mean to call you a lier but I find very hard to believe that a person who stands at the door and glance real quick at the receipt ( pretend to have counted) will catch an item that was over paid. When you go to ANY other store they don't treat you like that. I have questioned Member Services to find out if Members are informed of these requirements and the best (if you can call it that) is that they don't but there is a very small fine print bottom line stating that "we", Sam's has the right to look at your receipt as you leave as well as looking in backpacks, satchels, computer bags, etc. I do not at all appreciate this answer. However I did read the fine print, and I mean very fine, on bottom of the back of the brochure. I can only do what I can to make a difference for the Members I serve. You are right, there are many who do steal which does not make it easy on everyone else. However, as long as Sam's has been in business this has been part of their practice which most people expect. My goal in my heart is to do what I can to be a pleasant & welcoming service person for everyone as they enter & as they leave.

Speak for yourself! This honestly just depends on the club the one I work at post schedules 2 to 3 weeks in advance and rarely changes. And never changes the week of.

I have heard some messed up stories from people who had years at sam's that are no longer there.

For you it might not be worth it 😅. Some people like coming in at 7am because it gets busy during the day. Ebt days, the first and the 15th, christmas eve, Mondays, Thursday, depending on location gets extremely busy and youll be waiting in line for a while lol.

And will be there till that time even though we close at like 6 that day to get thebstore ready for the 26th. The 26th is when things are busy too lol. People are returning what didnt fit, what people didnt like and shopping for new years/ getting those discounted christmas items. (If they are discounted at that time) Lol its exhausting. But i do like my members. I known a lot of them throughout the years i have been there, so its nice to hear how their holidays went lol. Im not sure how busy it will be there but i know at my store its crazy haha
