Sam's Gas Can Reveals (C3E1-10) 

Matt's face on the first one is pure serotonin. The sheer amount of "HOW DID YOU BRING THAT HERE WITHOUT ME NOTICING, ALSO JUST WHAT THE FUCK" written plain on his face is astounding. The defeat on his face the second time he does it is almost as good, just accepting this is now a regular bit.

Matt's initial reaction is the juiciest, but I absolutely love how Taliesin and Liam see it first, both go quiet, and then both begin dying of laughter at the same time. Some telepathic comedy connection right there

The thumbnail originally made me think there was an episode I missed where they all pull out a gas can and now I'm realising how hilarious that would be 😂

Matt going through every emotion in about 2 seconds for the first one is probably my favorite moment in all CR.

The idea it being gas can is epic and now sam has extra space to play with to cause mayhem. I mean rember days he use to have shirts of distraction now it the gas can of distraction.

Has anyone else noticed when he plays a "small" character he uses comedically oversized drink containers since he got that HUGE tankard in Campaign 1?

Honestly, this whole video is why I think of Sam as Crit Role's version of Claptrap from Borderlands.

It's only a matter of time before Sam puts Matt's face on the flask.

If you watch Matt's first reaction closely, you can watch as his face becomes visibly 10 shades redder as he tries not to laugh.

Sam is developing a proficiency in drinking from large containers.

I pretty much only listen to the podcast but I know when I hear people start cackling out of nowhere and things go off the rails, it's always Sam's fault.

Something I didn't notice until rewatch: several times Marisha is trying to read the can as Sam goes to drink, so she tilts her head in synch with the drinking motion rather than wait for him to lower it.

Robbies "It's just a simple home game..." after the first reveal, with Marisha laughing hard to it is wonderful. That's probably something they said to him to relieve his nerves before the game, then this shit happens hahahah

I love how the cast is starting to notice his canteens more than they did in campaign 2

"Im working with children" as a teacher I fully appreciate the gravity of this line

The slow recoil to hide behind his hands Tal does, coupled with Matt's just "OMFG REALLY SAM!?" reaction is the best

Is no one going to point out how Travis has to allocate all his brain’s processing power to comprehend what he was seeing when Sam first brought out the can.

Next campaign sam is gonna play a warlock druid and have either a watering can, or a literal hose that shoots absinthe into his gullet.

I think my favorite moment from these ones specifically is everyone's visceral reaction to the squeaking of the chalkboard at the same time.

It would be entirely possible that Sam has a board of advisors that their whole purpose is to make ideas for either the designs for his shirts or what is on his gas can

Slowly while watching this campaign I noticed that it in fact wasn't a gas can he was drinking straight out of. It is a water bottle inside a gas can with a little magnet inside for his magnetic chalkboard.

My first thought seeing that thing was “Oh perfect, it’s a regular water bottle set into a prop, easily cleanable, maybe he won’t poison himself AGAIN.”
