Small correction Peter Schaeffer is a Roman Catholic Christian. I would argue that he is committed. At the same time he is also one of the foremost scholars of Judaism

As a Bible teacher, I have seen very clearly the concept of the Trinity in the Old Testament as well as the New Testament. In the very beginning of Genesis we have God and the Holy Spirit and in chapter 18 we have the physical manifestation of God when he meets with Abraham.

This is the first time I've heard about Tertullian or his view but it's the closest description to what I believe was an answer given to me by the Holy Spirit after many prayers asking God to explain it to me and that ultimately made me a Trinitarian.

I think the scriptures are pretty clear that sometime in eternity past, before the Father created anything and there was just Himself surrounded by His own glory, the Son was brought forth. I believe that the scriptures testify that Yeshua is the beginning of the creation of God, the only begotten of the Father, that shares His glory, dominion, and nature. This position disquiets some because they believe it lessens the Son or threatens his Deification or divinity but nothing could be further from the truth. If the Father had a son, then he had a son. It's really not more complicated then that. Each seed produces after its own kind. If God procreates.. He will become... The Son of God. Isn't that what Jesus calls Himself?

Sam is correct with his scripture in the video, but he is also a constant violator of scripture 2 Timothy 2:24-26 And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness. John, the Apostle, in the Greek says that Jesus and Holy Spirit came out of God/Father. There is a way that they separated by not having a new birth or creation whivh would be a new beginning and not eternal. God is a whole and complete entity. If he merely divides Himself into three persons, there is no birth or creation of something new. The quality of being eternal is retained. That means Father, Son and Holy Spirit were once one person who divided Himself into three equal Persons. Arianism solved. John, the Apostle, wrote that Holy Spirit “ekporeuomai” from God (‪John 15:26‬) and Jesus “ekerchomai” from God. (‪John 16:27‬-28, 30; John 17:8) “Ek” means “to come out of” and as a prefix changes the meaning of the root words from "to depart from "to "to come out of." I did not research this but read an article on the internet that I can’t find again in the jungle of articles. I checked it with Strong’s and Thayer. Thayer translated it as such, but said they “came out of God’s abode.” He could not accept out of God and made up another place to make it fit his theology.
