Sam, and Jacob. You both inspire me to become a better ARTIST over a better musician. The pictures that you guys paint with your instruments constantly blow me away! has has his foot on the volume pedal, surely the swell is from that not reverse delay? also notable that the reverse delay would reverse the note order too which it doesn't
@@TASPlasma depends on the length of the delay. But ur right. He uses a volume pedal so hats probably it. Volume+distortion+(possibly modulation of sorts?) then? whats ur suggestion
@@JustusVidyo I think I'm just hearing volume and distortion. He's using a lot of vibrato in his fingers. I notice he has what looks to be a Hartman flanger but if that thing is being used at all it's on a very subtle setting, I personally don't hear flanging during that section. After rewatching it looks like he engages the tremolo portion of the strymon flint as well, but that's not what's creating the swell (since the swells are not in a fixed rhythm timing), perhaps a very subtle tremolo.
@@TASPlasma idk where my other reply went but on his equipboard site it shows him using a EHX Attack Decay. That one autovolume, distortion and tape sounds which was that degraded sound, similar to analoge delays
