Samantha's new single 'Hot Boy' is taken from the Motion Picture 'Videoman'. Last year Samantha was invited to record the theme song to the movie which is a comedy set in a video rental store in the 1980's and the track had to reflect this time period perfectly. The result: 'Hot Boy'!
As the track is taken from the movie, Samantha shot this promo video with the same team behind the movie. It is very much a 'Homage' to those classic videos of the 80s.

Just listened to love in the first degree by Bananrama from the 80s. If you put these two songs together, can't tell Hot Boy isn't from the 80s. That shows how well done it is. Why isn't this the top song everybody's talking about?

Impossible Princess didn't go Number One and it is Kylie's most Artistic and Creative album ever. The most artistic material doesn't go to Number One. Samantha Fox isn't Number One with Hot Boy but at least it is great! SO Number One's mean nothing but $$$$$

Samantha’s latest single is such an irresistible 3 ½ minutes of glorious 80s pop. If Hot Boy had been the follow-up release to I Only Wanna Be With You in 1989 it wouldn’t have been a jot out of place. This is a pure treat for her fans. After all these years, Samantha is still here; a veteran artist with just as much energy, fun and star quality as ever. The best stars never fade away and Samantha is testament to that. This song and its sparkling video just make me feel happy. That’s what music is about. She looks sensational too.. 😊

I like how she returned with classic 80s song unlike some other singers who try these new boring trends. Like we don't have enough of it already. Same goes for Kim Wilde. Cheers to them!👍 It also would be great if we would have some kind of reunion of the biggest 80s young stars like Samantha, Lisa, Rick Astley, Kim, Debbie Gibson, Tiffany, Kylie, Jason Donovan, Martika, Sabrina, Pebbles, Sandra... I'm such a huge Samantha Fox Fan & have been since 1986 When I heard her very 1st song & single "Touch Me (I want your body)" & when she released her last cd Angels With An Attitude 13 Yrs ago in 2005 I never thought we would hear new music & I just watched Her Video "Hot Boy" & I am in love with it, It has such an 80's sound to it & that makes me love it even more & she still looks amazing. I am an 80's kid & I am so excited Sam put out a new song & I just tweeted her saying we the fans would love a new cd after 13 yrs.

Hope she is happy. I read her partner Myra Stratton died in cancer in 2015. But after all these years Samantha still looks healthy and fine. She seems to be down to earth, a nice person.
