If this is what certain parties mean when they rip off cheap foreign cant and say 'Make Canada Great Again' (I fear it is NOT what they mean); then so be it. Only one correction: 'Make Canadians realize they are great again" by seeing that Sammy the Great is simply great - a singular talent, a beacon of beauty, a welcome visitor, a sign to all who come here and all who live here and all who have always lived here that we only have each other - and when you only have each other, then that must be enough...why would you want for more?

When "Jim Crow" reigned supreme in America, we Canadians provided an opportunity for this amazing talent to do something that he simply was unable to do in his own country - star in his own television special. With the return of unvarnished racism, Canada will once again provide opportunities for the supremely talented to thrive. We are now the land of opportunity for those who are willing to make a fresh start in a new land.
