Yeah, he did. He put a little bit of his own spin to it, but I think that’s literally just because he’s a different person and quite literally no one can imitate Eddie’s playing exactly. But it was still damn good.
I think Joe sounded the most like Eddie on this song to be honest. I was so glad to hear Sam play with Mike and Joe in Nashville last night. So grateful I did because they were absolutely insanely amazing!!
I went and saw Sam play in Nashville last night and I was actually very surprised to hear them bring this song packed to life. I was very glad but also very surprised. I tried not listening to any of the current videos of the best of all worlds tour so I could be surprised and I was in a very good way.

In someways, I can almost imagine this being Van Halen back with Sammy Hagar if Eddie hadn’t of passed away. Joe did such a good job on the guitar parts.
Yep. The H3000 tone was always my favorite. People complain that it took the “edge” off. Listen to that record. Tone is razor sharp and the size of the Titanic
I know it's supposed to be a tribute concert tour for Eddie Van Halen but just out of curiosity why don't they show some video footage of Eddie while playing his music. I would think it would be kind of cool to show some still shots of Eddie.
Seen this, they put on a good show….will never spend my money on anything associated with them in the future however. want a beer or some merch? Better have a card. Yeah that’s right…they refuse the American dollar. Found that out when their card reader glitched, pulled cash out of my pocket and they refused to accept it. Yeah, unfortunately, he sounded great for pretty much 50 years but can't help but think he shouldn't attempt to sing some of the songs they're doing like "Dreams" at this point....he just hasn't got the range anymore.
