God Bless you girl! I upgraded my redwood deck to pressure treated, but the wood paneling inside remains. Ain't no shame! No mortgage, can go nekkid on my prop, and huntin, fishin, and lovin every day!
My dad used to sing this to my mom back when we were living in a double wide, mom hated it, he always promised more, and she sure got it, 12 acres and a farm house sittin upon it. Now 15 years later, im 20 and still blare it in my shop just so she hears it and remembers where we came from and just how hard we worked to get it.
Thank You for Sharing such a BEAUTIFUL insight into your life and parents humble love! Cherish them and please pass on that love that so many take for granted or may never know! Your in my thoughts and prayers!!! Please take care Darlin!!!!
@claymang I'm not ashamed of saying I live in a double wide trailer, hey, that's what GOD blessed myself and my family with...I'd rather a 1000.00 monthly note compared to a 1800.00 monthly note and cant afford to take my daughter to Disney World....JUST SAYING
@@troydaigle7902Amen brother! Nothing wrong with that. Studio apartments by me are up to 1,100 bucks now!! It’s ridiculous! Imma bout ready to quit my job in the city and move back north where I belong. Rent and mortgage through the roof and every decent burger joint charges $12 or more?!? You throw a 10 dollar bill on the table at Biggie Jackson’s place and you eat the best burgers until they wheel barrel you out to your car!
Man this song is just great all these years later. And “He’s the Charlie Daniels of the torque wrench” has gotta be one of the greatest lines ever written.
As someone who came from home stealing. Charile Dainles the maga fck off poser can chuck wood. But Sam Kershaw. MAN.. Feels so real and true. Don't compare that fck off to this man.
God bless you Sammy..! I'm originally from Manchester England . Now driving 18 wheeler's in the greatest country in the world The USA.. When this song comes on the all night radio I'll be singing at the top of my voice..You turn a bad day into good bro..!

This is some golden era country music for me; the 90's were unbeatable. Born & raised in TN, I grew up on this stuff & really miss the vibe of this time. Perhaps I'm just nostalgic for my childhood, but I just can't get into modern country music. Unless we're talking about Sturgill, then I'm all about it. Regardless, thank you for creating memories for me, Mr Kershaw. One of the greats!
So many of the 90s songs were sung while we were children ridin' in mom's boat car with arms hanging out the window and hair flowin' in the wind. I'll never forget the beauty of those moments as a child of four enjoying being a part of something much bigger than me.
I grew up in the back woods in massachusetts, nothing but trees mountains streams and my dad working on anything with an engine and all day long we listened to country or classic rock like zeppelin or Floyd... I miss growing up in the 80s and 90s
Ah, I remember signing this when I was a kid and telling my dad that I wanted to be the Queen of the double wide trailer. And my dad telling me “ no sweetie, you don’t.” Lol
It's hard to believe that this song is 30 years old now! I was 25 years old when this song was on the charts back in 1993, and I'm 55 now! Man, I'm getting old! 😄
I was 6 or 7 years old when it came out and I remember singing this at the top of my lungs not knowing what it all meant. Also, somehow my parents let me listen to trashy women by confederate railroad on repeat haha. Thank God I didn't follow through with that for a wife 😂.
aw heck I was in my 20's and loved 90's country. That's because the 80's music was on it's way out. (techno, pop and hair metal). 90's grunge suxs. (except for Nirvana and a few select others)
bighunterman77 But 80's is far from "shit". and older country is awesome too. It's less "poppy" sounding and more "country" sounding. Johnny Cash, Hank williams sr, George Jones, John Schneider, conway twitty. Awesome stuff.
bighunterman77 you do know that Charlie Daniels did a huge chuck of the soundtrack for urban cowboy. I grew up listening to country in the 70's and 80's 90's and George Jones had some of his biggest hits in the 80's
It was just by chance that a friend of mine (an awesome guy!!) had extra tickets to see Sammy in concert in 2023…now we both smile when we hear him on the juke box at our favorite bar 😊❤
Love this song and everything Sammy Kershaw sings! He's true country and he stays that way. I am lovin' this video. Sammy was extra gorgeous in it, one fine lookin' man. I have most of his CDs, but I gotta have my daily fix of Sammy on RU-vid and I love it when there's a video to accompany the song! 🌹 rosita

I was born in 1993, when this came out, and saw Sammy when I was little! I miss songs like this, too! There's a channel on Sirius called Prime Country, and it's all 80's-90's country; it took me back to when I watched CMT all the time; I loved it, and Y2K Country!
Songs like this remind me sitting in the passenger seat of my grandpa's truck when i was a kid in the early 90's going out to Indiana to do some fishing or hunting on the weekends. How i miss those times, they were the best times of my life

this song here I remember jamming to it with my dad in his truck..... this is one of my favorites bc he is no longer here just when I listen to it I can see us jus jamming out to it.....love u pops
I saw Sammy with Aaron Tippin and Clint Black last month. Sammy and Aaron were both hilarious. They'd definitely be entertaining to hang out with. I highly suggest going to they're concert
MontanicOrganic definitely check out they're dour dates dude. They're a great concert to go to and actually country unlike 95% of the garbage they call country these days. Both Aaron Tippin and Sammy were cool down to earth guys. By far the coolest guys in country music
Sometimes I really miss Pacifica Radio (TX). Remember when they physically barricaded the doors against a corporate takeover. They introduced me to this song and "(Somebody bring me a flower) I'm a robot."

So many "Queens" in country music back in the day... I mean... 1. Queen of Memphis 2. Queen of my heart 3. Queen of my double wide trailer 4. Cleopatra (queen of denial).... Help me out here folks....
