You can resample your sequenced chops to another pad with the audio plugin, then you can timestretch them without having to go into the sampler edit page and manually stretching each chop.
@@simikite Chop your sample, then work out your pattern, then record the pattern (resample) to an Audio module on a different pad, clear or mute the first pattern. Now your pattern is a loop in the audio module and you can use the real-time timestretching it provides.
I just got an mk3 a few days ago that is flawless from a lady that buys storage units. She posted it for $50 because she didn't know what it was, so i offered her 30 and said yes 🤘
You can time stretch chopped samples! So I use a Serato VST which does it automatically. But there are multiple ways to get to the same destination. #1 You can also record them into the sampler by Pressing the Record Tab #2 you can drag the chops from the icon that looks like a sound wave, which is placed right next to where it says Pattern Length in the middle of the screen. All the way to the right of the screen After you have your chops together for an entire group you can drag THAT icon over onto a New Group and you will see it chopped and time stretchable in a sound wave form on the next available Sound slot on the Group in which you dropped it to. Now you can either keep the group that you created the chop in or you can erase it and only use the chop that you’ve created as one TIME STRETCHABLE sample.😎 #3 you can just change the format from Sample to Audio over where you see Sample selected where you select your VSTs under Master Group and Sound and the same menu will be there just in case you just want to time stretch only ONE sample chop 😎 You can also save your individual chops which also saves processor space. Using the hardware it’s a different process that is equal to all I just said… I feel like I just typed a book 📚
I couldn't timestretch any samples on the maschine. But, after making my chops in the standalone software, I close it and open it up as a plugin within studio one and the samples are perfectly timestretched to my desired tempo.
Bolo, put a loop in time stretch it put the gate on and engage the keyboard button you would be amazed at what you can come up with when you hit that play button… you can Time stretch maschine just does it a different and unique way…
One of the main reasons I even considered the machine over FL studio 20. I still use and have FL but that's why I switched and took the leap with grabbing my mk3 like 5 months ago. Best decision & purchase I've ever made. Cuz now I'm making bangers and actually getting beat sales & I just went public for the first time a month ago & I've already made a few hundred of beat sales alone. Not that that matters. But it does feel great as all would agree. Anyway keep killing it bolo. Respect. 💪💯🔥
Lemme ask you this broly..cause I fw fl studio heavy as a host to everything..could it this maschine grab audio from fl studio as an mp3 possibly..im really thinking about investing in one of a mikro 3..the lil zip side on the left gives a sound scratch or some sort, which is hell I see on other viddies lol
Aye yo I appreciate that..just wondering if the mikro 3 has the same personality as that..great viddy..it persuaded me to invest in machine..just copped a komplete keyboard the other day..also the clarity is full I hear. Thank you for this viddy👍🏿💯💪🏿💪🏿
You can Timestretch in the machine software and on the standalone machine version the problem is the time stretching there’s a lot of artifacting I don’t like the way how it sounds that’s why I prefer Serato sample it’s easier and there’s less to much artifacting when you time stretching a sample but that’s just my personal opinion in my point of you
You can timestretch in Sample by selecting the timestretch. I do not like their time stretching in sample it is clunky and painfully slow workflow imo. I prefer to stretch by pitch, however if you use Audio instead you can create a very quick stretched sample. You can also play them in gated mode but tbh fam just use serato lol.
the time stretching in Maschine is its BIGGEST FLAW imo!! Been asking for what the world knows as timestrteching since v1... SERIOUSLY SINCE V1. Long time users just use serato
@@Blacksonaudio If you say 'per se' meaning "in itself/of itself" then you seem to have an ultimate definition of what timestretch is and how it is achieved, like you are comparing it to another software? The S-1000 back in the day was my, and our, first experience of timestretch. The algorithms weren't so good. Then for me it was always Logic since 2001and it had Time and Pitch Machine. Then we added metadata of bpm and pitch to audio. Apple Loops. Then Ableton Live. My point is, it's all different, but can all achieve the same results if you learn how.
Literally 80% of why I ditched maschine was because of not being able to timestretch my Chops…. No one wants to do that weak ass workaround of having to resample once you have your chop pattern down… sometimes different pitches and speeds of the sample determine how I come up with my chop pattern. Native Instruments will always have superior sounds. But I have switched to MPC because of how advanced the sampling capabilities are.
Out of all the drum machines I used ( including music workstations) the MPC 500 is one of the best for recording , editing and manipulating samples . Not to mention its a portable standalone player that can run off of 8 AA batteries ( rechargable batteries recommended )
