Over the last few months i have been using some of the Samson lures. Although these lures have been around for a while, it was only this year that i'd really used them properly. They're sub-surface lures which can be worked deeper down in the water or, on the surface like your more conventional lure. They cast like a bullet and have a very nice action to them when worked properly.
In this video i talk about how i've been using them, in what kind of conditions i use them in and why you should give them some water time too.
This isn’t a promotional video and i haven’t been paid to advertise these lures. These are purely my own thoughts on these lures which i thought could maybe help other bass anglers if they were looking for something a little different to try.

Can't beat a samson lure. Grant fishes is some horrendous conditions,but boy does he catch some whopping bass! Nice upload mate 💪

Cheers Cal. Some great info. I love the 21g Bomb. These lures are indestructible. I have hade some great success trawling the Bomb behind my kayak. Whilst paddling to marks.

Hi Cal,I luv the stealth glide,after watching your vid fancy the bomb in mullet,is it easy to put the transfer pattern on? Tightlines Chef lure angler🐟🎣 Guessing your next holiday when things calm down will be Portugal lol defo on my list🤙🐟🎣

I've only used the stealth glide a couple of times so far, its a nice lure isn’t it. It’s not a transfer on the lure, you can order them in different colours from the site 👍🏼I'd go anywhere right now haha, its been ages since i last went away. Cheers 🤙🏼

Another clear, well articulated video. Can you tell me what reel you have in the clips? Is it a Shimano Sahara? Chistmas is coming.... :-)

Thanks a lot 👍🏼 It's a Shimano Nasci 4000 i'm using in those clips. I really like the Nasci. I think they've discontinued them now because they're making a newer version. I also have a Shimano Sahara, also a nice reel. Very similar to the Nasci but about a tenner cheaper i think.

I recently purchased the 21g bomb not got out with it yet, out of curiosity do you have any videos on rod and reels? I purchased a £30 set to see how I get on, and now wanting to upgrade so want to try and find some info. Thanks 👍 😁

The bomb is a nice lure, im sure you'll like using it. The only video i have on a rod and reel is a review on the Nomura Never Crack. You will be able to get a decent set up, rod and reel, for 100 pound.

Hi mate. I changed some hooks on my a few of my Samson lures recently. I bought some of the savage gear trebles in size 4 & 5. Used the bigger ones for my heavier Samson lures. I’ve not used them much since changing them but they seemed a very good fit when I was changing them.

Have been watching your vids lately very interesting am thinking of doing this myself braid have never used it would it be okay with fluocarbon shock leader and also looking at the akios spyro rs 3000-6000 lure come baitcastor?

Thanks a lot 👍🏼 Yeah braid to fluorocarbon leader is ideal. I'm afraid i don’t know a lot about bait casters to be honest.

@@FISHINGWITHCAL They cost a fortune 🤮😂 I'll have to go have a look at some Cal because my eyes are getting battered in the summer the past few years and they have started to flicker as soon as I look at the water and get any sort of glare. Thanks for the reply as well Cal and I love those Sampson lures👍

Awesome video my videos are starting to get better and I know how much work it takes too make a good quality fishing video like this it ain’t easy and you deserve a pat a n the back!
