One more thing.. Happy to see all the magnets on your fridge! A lot of the youtubers show off their fridge like its out of architectural digest. I appreciate you showing your fridge the way normal families use it. Our fridge is covered in magnets and having a fridge that can hold magnets on all sides is important to us.
Yeah, keep away for stainless steel it's easy to cover in fingerprint and scratches super easy. I'm sure they have magnets that won't scratch stainless steel, but I haven't bought any yet.
Thanks for the review. Our Frigidaire is almost 20 years old and still purring. Looking around so we're ready to buy when it finally goes. I always wonder if I should pre-emptively buy or use my old fridge until it dies.
The only thing I'd say is your old one could be using more electricity than a new unit. Also, your food might not be as fresh as a new one. Mine was a whirlpool from 2008 with no water and ice that had a funky taste (I never used it), and food wouldn't keep as long as it should. Plus, it was very loud and warm.
We have this model also. Had it for 6 months now, and our ice machine is not dumping ice anymore. The bins are empty. I cleaned it. Took tray out, and put back in, turned it off and then back on. 😢 Any suggestions ?
Well. Update: He came and looked at it. Needs parts 2nd trip: patched up a leak in pipe. Worked for 6 days. Got warm 3rd trip: added fan and added freon. Worked for 2 days..the freezer is warm and no ice again 😡. So now we are waiting for them to come out a 4th time soon.
I have the same thing but mine is a 3 French door. My refrigerator sucks when it comes to cleaning it. You cannot remove the shelves easily. I have to get my husband to do it. I’d rather not have to wait for & depend on someone else to help me. Neither of us could get the bottom shelf out. We had to call the company because it’s not in the manual. How inconvenient. He struggled to get it out. And now neither of us can get the top shelf back in on the top. The left door also does not stay open. And the water would not work. I had to keep pressing it for a few minutes. I guess there was air in it. The psi must be low because it’s slow. So we will have to get that looked into too. So I will be calling the store about that tomorrow. Is anyone else having any issues with anything?
Hey thanks for sharing. Did you buy it from Home Depot? My current one is the Samsung Bespoke three door with the water pitcher inside. The one we have is solid thankfully. Also we haven't needed to clean it so can't say if it's hard to get shelves out.
Freeze may seem smaller than other fridges, but once you figure out where you put stuff, it's not that bad. It's definitely bigger than my current Samsung Bespoke fridge, lol
@@AtHomewithLucas I have a whirlpool side by side now and the freezer section is just way too small. I will keep it as nothing is wrong with it and move it to my utility room as extra freezer/fridge space. Thank you for responding, I hope I don’t regret getting it.
