Mike can you do another video about cleaning the heat exchanger ??? That’s the one thing that will destroy this machine us line gets in the heat exchanger. Does the instructions say clean the heat exchanger every time you use it after each load or does it say the AI will tell you when it’s time to clean the heat exchanger ???
What about the appliance brush needed to clean off the heat exchanger??? If you don’t do that it will destroy the machine. I just bought this Samsung AI All in one and samsung told me to buy an appliance brush 27” long or 680 mm to clean the heat exchanger !!! There are a few people on here that did videos showing the brushes needed. Samsung should sell this appliance brush. And SAMSUNG should have made the brush and included it with the washer dryer AI COMBO. They should also include the water hoses. They don’t even sell the water hoses on their website. But the lady sent me a link to a parts website and they don’t sell the brush or the water lines. As much as this washer cost sanding should have created a brush to go with this machine. I got Samsung to lower my price down to $1579.00. I’m military family and what they ended up doing was giving me $300 off. I forgot to tell them I was military. So I got on chat and told them I forgot to mention my military discount. It would only be 10% on this machine they give up to 30% off to military. UP TO 30%. So they decide what % you get on each machine it differs but I don’t think it should. So this next person said they would let me trade in my Samsung FLEX DUO WASHER which the board went out on the lower washer. They gave me an extra $150 off. I only had my Samsung Flex Duo washer & dryer 5 years and one month. After the Lowe’s 5 year warranty was up the washer failed the next month I already had 2 dryer replacements done under Lowe’s 5 year extended warranty. I’m taking a huge change in this Samsung AI ALL IN ONE. But I studied the LG & GE & Samsung and Samsung is the only company that the AI will wash off the heat exchanger with water. From what I read. I have seen videos on LG where people are having to use appliance brushes one guy uses a tooth brush type to gently remove hair lint from the heat exchanger. What have you noticed inside have you used a flash light to see inside the heat exchanger ??? I hope you read this comment. Because you don’t say anything about cleaning the heat exchanger. I thought this machine self washed the heat exchanger and I would not have to use any type of appliance brush to clean it but samsung said I do need to clean it.
We are two months into ownership with 60+ loads. 0 lint on the heat exchanger so far. I haven't bought an appliance brush yet. Hopefully I will never need to. The lint trap may be a bit of a pain to clean, but it works very well.
Yes, we are somewhere between 10 and 20 loads. Not a spec of lint on the heat exchanger. We do hear it spraying water on it at the start of a load. The worst part is how tight fitting the inner screen is. It should loosen up over time.
We are a family of three and do two loads a week. Loads take between 3 and 4 hours on normal or the AI setting. We run the machine overnight on the AI setting twice a week and have no issues keeping up. My recommendation is to run a load overnight every time you get enough clothes for a full load. We are really enjoying the machine! No more forgetting to move laundry from the washer to the dryer.
