Samsung Bespoke fridge: remove glass from bottom shelf to clean spills 

Just want to echo the other comments. Just bought a Bespoke fridge and on Day 2, a bag of defrosting chicken decided to leak all over that bottom shelf and in all these crevices PLUS the fruit drawer because my fridge wasnt level. Anyway, this video was a huge help, it wasnt actually as hard as I thought it would be. I did let the shelf come to room temperature before i started bending plastic. Taking the glass out was much easier than putting it back in. But i got it done. Thanks again!

Good video Thanks. Everything worked as explained except for reinstalling the glass piece. In the video it is only takin partially out, which makes it easy to demonstrate. Once the whole piece is out, the plastic is pretty stiff and difficult to bend to accommodate the glass portion. Instead of removing a bunch more stuff as some have suggested I found using a hair dryer helps to give the piece more flexibility. Heat it up as you move down the line and it should bend much better to get the glass piece back in. I also found standing it up gives you more leverage and grip. Good Luck!

For those thinking the white plastic holding the glass can't possibly be a single piece of plastic... It is. I found it easier to pop out the glass from the outer edge and work towards the center. Two people working together was also a big help.

Our shelf was really stuck down…no way it was popping out, even with a hairdryer. We took it to the walk-in shower and ran hot water over all of it, front and back, and after a bit it popped right out. Hubby thinks it was glued down with meat juice that had gotten all underneath it. Thank you so much for this video cause we had no idea how to even approach it! 😊

I was about on verge of tears thinking I would break this trying to get it out to clean it and then I found this video! FYI, peroxide also works wonders for removing stains. ❤🎉😅

Thanks, you need to use some force on bending that down to pop the glass out. The plastic is more flexible than it appears. Also remove that crisper frame everyone, you can see it on the left at the beginning of his video. That way it will lay flat

If you can’t reinstall, gently remove the 4 plastic tabs with a screwdriver, take the glass shelf completely out, unscrew the white bottom support thing. Then with the shelf right side up and silver strip facing you, use your fingers to grab the middle of the silver bar over the top and start removing it, rocking the silver bar toward you. The edges will be a little tight a pop a bit but the silver front will come off. Now you actually install it the same way as the video, into where the silver strip was, but completely apart like this gave me enough flexibility to get it back together.

I agree with some of the others here. This might work for some but the amount of force needed to bend the plastic definitely feels like its going to break the plastic, the glass, or both. Not to mention the difficulty of getting it back in once its out. Im sure replacing the glass is a nightmare so I might just get some sort of spill tray for the bottom shelf to prevent needing to take the glass out for cleaning to begin with. Hope this works better for others than it did for me but I will continue looking for other solutions with less risk.

What about the very bottom where the deli drawers are?

How do I remove the small pane of glass above the middle drawers?

On my shelf, there is a long plastic lip at one end and two small tabs on the other end. Which end do you suggest bending?

I tried and failed to remove the glass...I was in fear of breaking either the glass or the plastic...I am not impressed with this design!

I will never buy a Samsung again! This can't be what they expect you to do. I think they just plan on you not spilling!
